BaKit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo, Another RomCom Hits

Have you ever asked this question to yourself “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?” (Why Your Crush Didn't Have a Crush On You?) Perhaps yes and perhaps not but for many hopeless romantic this is just one of the many. I too, were once asking this question, of course the book wasn't printed that time so it's one of the question that I search for the answer, hahaha.

Now, it's great that straight to the point a book like this from “the Internet Action Star”, Ramon Bautista, was published and read by many teenagers of this generation. A guide book to answer most of the questions in life of youngsters and perhaps even the not so-old bachelor and bachelorette who's still searching for the right one.

Last week Kwento Ni Toto was present in a blog conference held at ABS CBN ELJCC Building together with the other bloggers we were there to ask the question “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” and it was responded by Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and Kean Cipriano. Yup, this is one amazing, romantic, and funny movie created by the one and only Bb. Joyce Bernal. It is part of the continuing celebration of Star Cinema's 20th anniversary celebration in the movie industry. A movie adaptation, a comedy movie based from the best-selling humor book by the self-proclaimed “Internet Action Star, Ramon Bautista”.

This movie is Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's first big screen team-up. This movie is the story about the lives of a brainy ugly duckling employee named Sandy Veloso played by Kim and his rich and dashing boss Alex Prieto played by Xian.

From an interesting encounter, the boss and the assistant will find themselves helping each other. Sandy will help Alex learn the ropes for him to effectively run their company while Alex helps Sandy learn to play the practical games of dating and relationships for her to get back on her ex-boyfriend Gardo and not get her heart broken over again.

It was interesting to know that according to Kim, Xian and Kean for once in their life they were able to ask the same question “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo”. And according to them their journey creating the movie make them fully understand and know more about Ramon Bautista's book. They were able to share things that they've read from the book like “the Heart, the Mind and the Bird” which helps in decision making. Of course Kwento Ni Toto were able to ask the three (Kim, Xian, and Kean) which comes natural for them, making their viewers laugh or making them cry. Since Kim and Xian just came from a concluded teleserye they were able to weigh which one is. For Kim and Xian, making people laugh is hard for them while for Kean it comes natural for him.
