PLDT & ME Giveaway Promo and 85 Years Of Changing Lives

PLDT or Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company at present cherries two numbers, these numbers had moved them to stand firmly with their belief “we're changing lives”. And indeed they've change the lives of Filipinos in the telecommunication industry.  Eight and Five are the numbers that they cherries. These are the very number that describes their existence and their service for the Filipinos in terms of communication. Eight and Five are an interesting pair of number for celebrating an eight and a half decade of providing services that changes the lives of others through technology and innovations in the telecommunication industry.

For me, these two numbers got individual meaning that describes PLDT and their present gadget giveaway promo for all their Facebook fans as they celebration their 85th Anniversary #PLDT85. Eight in 85 defines as PLDT's continuous services for the Filipino and also in providing innovations in the way Filipinos communicate with each other. Not only that, it also describes their continuous celebration. With the success of PLDT's recently concluded Then & Now gadget giveaway promo, in which they were able to received a total number of 20,000 entries, PLDT wanted to broaden the number of satisfied winners with their gadget giveaway promo through their Facebook page.

Five in 85 is the Five easy steps in joining PLDT & ME gadget giveaway promo that runs from September 30 to October 25 of course this year 2013.

EASY STEPS

1. First check out and read the details of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone's gadget giveaway promo, PLDT & Me from PLDT Home, PLDT SME Nation, or PLDT Public Affairs page then by downloading/installing the app from the PLDT Home, PLDT SME Nation, or PLDT Public Affairs page on Facebook, or by simple going straight to http://apps.facebook.com/PLDTandME.
2. Participate by taking a picture or looking for photos of you, your relatives, or even your friends using a PLDT telephone unit. What's great is that the picture can be from as long ago as 1928, from the year when PLDT was founded, all the way up to the present day. Just make sure that the logo of PLDT from the telephone unit can be seen and easily recognize.
3. Register and upload your photos through the PLDT & Me apps. Make sure to complete the details in the registration form to make it valid. Once the photo si uploaded you will receive an email from PLDT within 24-48 hours to let you know if the photos submitted are valid.
4. Once valid you can check your photos through the gallery and share them to your Facebook or you can even make it your profile pic.
5. Then wait for the raffle or you can send another entries to have more chances of winning but you may win only once. You can send as many photos as you want. None winning entries from previous draws will automatically be included on the next draw.

I did say that PLDT wants to let followers to win gadgets, right? The reason is that these devices are among the different platforms that customers can enjoy with their PLDT subscription or what they call the 4 screens. PLDT’s Head of Public Affairs Ramon Isberto explains through this statement: “PLDT's move into multimedia services seeks to take advantage of its extensive and robust fixed and mobile platforms to deliver digital media content such as entertainment like music, photos and video through various devices including laptops, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.”

1. Promo is open to residents of the Philippines age 18 and above.
2. Employees of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) and its subsidiaries and affiliates, sponsors, agencies, dealers, retailers and their family members up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to participate in this contest.
3. By joining this promo, the participant signifies that he/she has read, understood and agrees to abide by the promo mechanics, rules and regulations set forth in the contest’s terms and conditions.
4. User may send multiple entries but can only win once for the entire promo period.
5. Prize is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.
6. This Promo is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
7. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Terms of Participation including mechanics of photo submission.
8. 10. For winners from the National Capital Region, prizes may be claimed at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, 2296 Don Chino Roces Extension, Makati City 1231 Philippines. The winner must claim the prizes at their own expense. Should the winner(s) be from provincial Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the prize will be delivered through a third party. The prerequisite documents such as the acknowledgement and quit claim form will be signed along with the delivery receipt that the winner signs before receipt of the prize from the third party delivery agency.
