Last February 23, Kwento Ni Toto was able to see Valentino Rossi in action but before that we were able to hear why Valentino Rossi was here in the Philippines. Yes, this legendary MotoGP rider visited the Philippines to help and support Yamaha' Lends a Hand Project. As the entire world have witnessed Typhoon Yolanda had really devastated portion of the Philippines.
This charity effort aims to raise funds to help victims of the Typhoon Yolanda. And here's what Valentino Rossi's words during the Press Conference " ... I hope that all is well for the Philippines now especially after the country was hit by Typhoon Yolanda last November. I was saddened to see the news that so many Filipinos has suffered and has lost almost everything because of the typhoon. I, together with Yamaha Motor Company Ltd., Yamaha Motor Racing, the MotoGP team and Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc., have worked hand-in-hand to bring hope and raise funds to those affected by the calamity. I strongly encourage everyone to help in any way possible. Together and as chamoions, let us help rebiuld lives."
The press conference was held at SM Sta. Rosa together with the opening of the opening leg of the Yamaha GP 5. Also present during the said conference was Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc.'s President Toru Osugi, Sales Gen. Manager Romeo Tan, Corporate Support/Corporate Services/Logistics Gen. Manager Alfredo Lejano and Marketing Section Manager Ryan Jude Camus.
