Labor Day Job Fair at SM City Fairview

Nobody says that landing a job is easy, unless you’re the top of your batch and you’re one of the highly qualified individual. But if you’re one of the average Juans who've graduated from your class, well you’d better start putting an extra effort in hunting a job. It pays off when you’re diligent enough. Just like what had happened in the recently concluded Nationwide Labor Day Job Fair. It was a nationwide job fair event happened in different selected malls of SM. The event has indeed made a huge impact for job hunters, especially in SM City Fairview where Kwento Ni Toto covered the said event.

The mall was really crowded but with the presence of job seekers made the mall more crowded the before. With over a thousand applicants present, lined up and waiting to be interviewed by personnel from different companies and employers. The SM City Fairview is just the right mall in the right place for different applicants as the place is just near to different cities and places, from Caloocan City, Quezon City and near areas of Bulacan.

This Nationwide Job Fair was hosted by SM Supermalls together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on a Labor Day holiday with the intention of providing opportunities for newly graduates and job seekers. SM Supermalls continues to make this effort to help the growing number of Filipino workforce land a job.

The applicants were just eager enough to land a job and they are persistent no matter how long the line it is. Good thing that the SM City Fairview activity center is just spacious enough to accommodate quite a number. Though their feet and legs are aching standing in the line, they are still thankful that they are not sweating.
