The CaliBurger Experience, Always Fresh

 

Kwento Ni Toto’s food story this time is about this newest food store making a buzz online. This is one of the newest food haven in Manila for people who loves to munch on burgers. This newest burger chain in the Metro is called “CALIBURGER”. A new player in the burger chain stores in the Philippines.

Caliburger is an American based corporation with having no branches in the U.S., so far, and is swiftly making its name in the international market. Established by a group of passionate California entrepreneurs who set out to bring the finest and freshest “Cali” inspired burgers and chicken sandwiches to the rest of the world. Opened their first branch in Shanghai and later on extends to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and now in Manila.

True to their thrust of bringing California inspired lifestyle, the first branch at Century City mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City made an impression to the public. Their second branch at Timog is in just the right place for people who would love to taste a new kind of burger. CaliBurger believes that fresh tastes best. When it comes to quality, no detail is too small. Their made-to-order meals are always prepared in open kitchens by experienced chefs who carefully monitor quality and adhere to strict standards for processing, cooking and sanitation. These all add up to a difference you can taste in their products.

As this is Kwento Ni Toto's first experience with CaliBurger we made sure to truly enjoy the meal and we definitely make use of our sense of taste and feel to experience that tingly texture of the patty and to savor the flavor of their burger. Making every bite an experience to remember.

So what did I get to taste on this store? Well for a lover of cheese I did go for their BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. According to them this burger is filled with mouthwatering cheeseburger layered with 100% USDA Prime Angus Beef patty, double smoked bacon, and sweet and tangy house-made BBQ sauce. Plus the usual, the lettuce and the tomato to complete the serving.

So what can I say about my burger experience? One, For an american style burger, this serving is quite small compared to other american burgers but perhaps it was toned down to match the eating capaciy of the Pinoy market. Two, the Prime Angus Beef patty is juicy enough to fill your mouth its whole flavor which we liked it very much. Three, the BBQ sauce is sweet and tasty that compliments with the bacon and the patty but for those who does not like sweet sauces this is not an option for them. For kids and teenagers this will truly a hit. And lastly, with regards to its value, well it's a bit pricey but hey it's a certified Prime Angus Beef.

Of course the meal experience wouldn't be complete without the drinks and add ons. What we got was their Neopolitan Milkshake which we loved very much and the fries. They will ask you if like fries or onion rings. So, I'm not a very much fan of union rings I did go for the fries.

Aside from burgers, they also got juicy chicken wings called Sweet Cali Wings with soy honey glaze.

Oh, on the day that of our visit to CaliBurger in Timog. They were celebrating their Cali Fresh Weekend which one of their Cali Girl was present and posing with everyone at the store.
