Barclaycard US and Expert Global Solutions, A New Strategic Partnership

Two known brands in providing world-class services, Barclaycard US and Expert Global Solution (EGS) have officially announced their strategic partnership and since May the companies have been working together to recruit, train and prepare staff to begin servicing Barclaycard customers. Barclaycard US is the payment business of Barclays in the United States while EGS is a global leader in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. Kwento Ni Toto shares the story as the two brand names commemorate the launch which was held in Centris Building last August 21. The event was attended by local dignitaries and industry leaders, EGS employees and executives from Barclaycard and EGS.

According to EGS President and CEO Bob Segert, “Barclaycard is a world-class brand and we are thrilled to be launching our relationship. Teams around the world have been working together to prepare for this day and we’re confident in our ability to deliver exceptional service to their customers at our flagship site in Manila.”

After the commemoration of the launch of Barclaycard US and EGS’s partnership a tour inside the state-of-the-art headquarters of EGS in Centris Building happened together with the executives of both companies. The EGS headquarters opened last June of this year and will be home to more than 6,000 EGS employees.

EGS Philippines President and Country Head, Bong Borja expressed that “EGS Centris is a physical representation of our commitment to our customers and our employees. The site offers our employees a beautiful place to come to work each day. Their satisfaction with the work environment is reflected in the exceptional service we deliver to our customers.”

To deliver extraordinary customer experience, EGS headquarters dedicated two (2) floors exclusively for Barclaycard US which expects to house more than 700 employees. Providing services to Barclaycard US customers.

Present during the press conference were Barclaycard executives, Mr. Patrick Wright, Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Craig Peters, Head of Operations, Care, and executives of EGS, Mr. Bob Segert, EGS President and CEO; Mr. Jim McGrath, President, Client Solutions; and Mr. Bong Borja, EGS Philoippines President and Country Head.
