Fujifilm's Instax and Crafts Event Shares Creative Ways to Keep Great Memories

In this digital age there are different devices that are made to store photographs and albums, well, is now perhaps neglected by some people. There are things in this digital age that doesn't have to be digital. For great memories to cherish and remember it is always great with the tangible ones. Since I'm one of those artsy crafty person getting creative with memorable moments isn't a problem. But of course it's great to learn from others as well.

Recently Fujifilm Philippines, Inc. held an event "Instax and Crafts" at the Activity Center of Ayala Mall's Market! Market!, shared the exciting ways to preserve life's best moments with Instax. Guests and Instax enthusiasts spend an afternoon of arts and crafts workshop with Mikko Sumulong of I Try DIY and Marielle Nadal-Reyes of Craft MNL, while being entertained by an indie folk band The Ransom Collective. Attendees, including me, learned some of the different and creative ways to keep and showcase photos through DIY greeting cards and paper die cut mobile.

Fujifilm's Instax has truly changed the way we use and display our photos through its trendy instax cameras and colorfully-designed instax films. It shows that more and more millennials are now very keen in preserving and displaying their Instax photos. I remember before that there were quite few instax films and cameras can be seen or heard of but now I think there are more and more are now using instax in keeping their sweet memorable moments.

According to Fujifilm Division Head for Electronic and Photo Imaging, Takuya Maeda "There is a certain kind of joy at looking at one's photos - more so, if it's something you can hold on to like a printed photograph. We realized that millennials not only enjoy seeing their favorite  memories on Instax prints, they also enjoy displaying them and sharing them with friends and loved ones. Through "Instax and Crafts", we hope that they can see that there are many ways on how they can display and preserve these memories."

The "Instax and Crafts" event not only featured the artsy crafty but also launched the new exciting colors of the Instax Hello Kitty camera and also the new Hello Kitty film. Giving another reason for instax enthusiasts to go crazy preserving their photos. Everyone took their time taking photos with Hello Kitty as well.
