The Tale of the Winter Forest, SM Southmall's Christmas Piece

One of the most awaited season for us Filipinos is Christmas. It is believed that we, Filipinos, celebrate Christmas the longest and to attest to that some people decorates their houses as early as September. As soon as the cold breeze of the northern winds is felt at our tropical country or at the beginning of the "BER" months. But whatever date we start to celebrate Christmas is the season for everyone to be merry and one of the places that brings joy is the mall. For sure everyone gets merrier whenever they see Christmas designs and decorations at the mall.

So this Christmas season, SM Southmall starts their Christmas with a launch of their center piece "the Tale of the Winter Forest". A white cold winter forest with the wild, tough, tall and brave raindeers makes SM Southmall's Christmas piece majestically beautiful.

This Christmas witness the magical tale of the joy of giving as SM Southmall, premier mall of the South metro, presents The Tale of the Winter Forest. The launch features the unveiling of the mall's first Christmas centerpiece with a play production by Stages and a full
performance of the Manila String Machine.

The Tale of the Winter Forest tells a story of two children getting lost in an enchanted forest, where the only way to find the right path is to give up everything. In the forest, they meet a wounded rabbit, a lost cardinal, and a hungry tiger. The children helped the animals, giving up their clothing and food for them. In return, the Winter Fairy appears and shows them the path home.

Aside from the Christmas launch, SM Southmall has other holiday activities in store. Share your special Christmas wish with Santa Claus on November 13 & 27 and December 11 & 24.
