It's Showtime Celebrates 10th Anniversary with a Year-long and Biggest Celebration

8:17:00 PM

The "It's Showtime" TV Show celebrates its 10th anniversary with a year-long and biggest celebration. With the return and relaunch of classic segments, magpasikat showdown of hosts, and other environmental advocacies following the legacy of Ms. Gina Lopez.

During the press conference, a lot of things were revealed and shared with the members of the media. Giving a glimpse of what is going to happen in the year-long celebration.

“It’s Showtime” brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and making a difference.

First of the ten surprises is the hosts’ annual Magpasikat competition this October, featuring the following groups: Anne Curtis, Amy Perez, and Bidaman Top 6; Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, ‘Ate Girl’ Jackie, Ion, and Stephen; Karylle, Ryan Bang, and GT; Vice Ganda and the Top 3 queens of “Miss Q & A’s” two seasons; and Vhong Navarro, Marielle Rodriguez, and Hashtags.

Each group’s Magpasikat performance is required to bring together ten dozen or 120 madlang people – ordinary Kapamilyas and not celebrities – and be given a chance to shine on national television.

The country’s number one noontime show also looks back on its ten years by relaunching its well-loved classic segments, including the dance competition that produced XB GenSan. “It’s Showtime” will also bring back other segments that kicked off the careers of world-class champions such as El Gamma Penumbra, Fourth Impact, Rachel Gabreza, and the TNT Boys and artists such as Onyok Pineda, Chunsa Jeung, Esang De Torres, GT, Hashtags, and the next Darna, Jane De Leon.

In the coming months, viewers and fans can also expect the program sharing more and more blessings, entertaining segments such as “Mr. Q & A” and “KapareWho” to churn out double the fun, the return of “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” and live shows with the hosts in and out of the country.

For its tenth year, “It’s Showtime” is also pushing for environmental protection and conservation as it challenges the madlang people to support its advocacy project, whose details will be revealed soon.

Join the whole “It’s Showtime” family in celebrating its tenth anniversary beginning this October and watch it at noontime from Mondays to Saturdays on ABS-CBN on ABS-CBN HD (Sky Cable ch 167). 5 Different Opinions/Reasons Why Married People Fall In Love for the Second Time To Another Person

11:20:00 PM

Our heart is placed in a strategic location to entirely manage the flow of blood and oxygen for the whole body. It is not placed above the brain because it is not created to govern but to manage, to express, and to love. Brain is above the heart to oversee and provide logical reasoning for the heart. A balance checker whether the heart is functioning accordingly. That is how humans are created.

Though most people find true love or their first love, there are still circumstances in life that shakes the ground. Testing the stability of the foundation, of which many committed people fails. Of course there are certain factors why the foundation of love crumbles and falls. And that's what I'm about to share since Anne Curtis and Marco Gumabao will be showing their unwanted love affair genre movie entitled "JUST A STRANGER". It will be shown on August 21, a holiday to give everyone a chance to watch the movie alone or with their loved ones.

So, why do married people fall in love for the second time to a different person? Well, no one really know the exact facts why but what I can share is based on different stories that usually see on TV, newspaper and movies, all about illicit affairs.

1. The attention. Probably attention is one of the main reason why some people fall out of love and fall in love to another person. Once a person is deprived of attention he or she will try to find it somebody else.

2. The thrill. Sometimes when monotony strikes there's this thrill seeking mood of every individual. People want something new and for this instance, if the partner isn't playful or interesting anymore that is why an individual will go for the exciting and thrilling ones.

3. The situation. Often, people who is always present in a situation would eventually make an impact to the point of being needed. This goes to either parties.

4. Peer pressure. Not really aware if this also happens to the ladies that individuals are being pressured by peers to do something that leads to an affair and later on falling for it.

5. The heart. Feelings are sometimes irrational that they tend to complicate things. One isn't enough to satisfy or suppressed the feeling.

Do you have any thoughts or ideas that you can share about this topic? If you do have one, kindly comment your response.

The movie of Anne Curtis and Marco Gumabao is an intimate romantic drama that is about the story of Mae Pimentel played by Anne Curtis, who's in her mid-30s with an illness called Fibromyalgia and married to Phil portrayed by Edu Manzano who's a businessman who doesn't seem to care much for Mae. Mae is not wanting material things and she can go on a leisure trip anywhere she wants. On this particular event in a City of Lisbon, Portugal where she meets Jericho "Jekjek" Esguerra (played by Marco Gumabao). A 19-year-old son of a Philippine Ambassador. A guy oozing with sex appeal and charming personality but playful like a child.

The trailer of the movie already gives a hint of how the story goes with the numerous steamy scenes between Anne and Marco, but director Laxamana points out that the film was not created to romanticize illicit affair. The movie is more on the personal stories of the characters and to show the reasons behind their actions. Will they stick to their principle "Not your friend. Not your lover. Just a stranger."

"Just A Stranger" is directed by Jason Paul Laxamana under Viva Films. Opens in different cinemas nationwide on August 21, 2019.

Globe's Today I Will Campaign Moved Anne Curtis

5:19:00 PM
“Today I Will Go Lang Ng Go.” I never thought before that this was a commercial campaign created by Globe. When I first saw this I thought it was just a status of one of my friend who posted it on Facebook but when I check out my Twitter I did saw some tweets that has a TodayIwill hash tag. I got curious so I tried to look for it and got surprised that it was Globe’s commercial campaign. Silly me!

I have seen the commercial a few times already and I never thought that it will also engage in twitter and facebook, more commonly on twitter. Social media has indeed broken the barriers. There’s no reason for people not to see the commercial, whether it is on TV or online. Plus the campaign has become more engaging and people participate in it.

Some of whom I know participated as well in Globe’s campaign and even celebrities did participate in the #TodayIwill tweets. To list some of them, below are screenshots of their tweets.

It is really nice knowing that celebrities do participate in this kind of campaign.  It was even nicer knowing that rival company’s endorser also did participate in the campaign.  Yes! I read it in PinoyGossipBoy’s blog that Anne Curtis Smith, the endorser of the rival telecommunication company, has indeed joined in the campaign through her twitter. Unfortunately, Anne Curtis Smith removed the tweet from her twitter account. Perhaps she realized that it was the campaign of the rival company that she was endorsing.

This is Anne Curtis tweet taken from Pinoy Gossip Boy's Blog post.
Perhaps the campaign of the rival channel network should apply to her “Think Before You Click!”

In my opinion, Anne Curtis should have thought about it before she posted something like it. She’s a celebrity, a public figure and an endorser so everything that she does or post should be thought thoroughly. She might get into trouble if she keeps on doing that. Nonetheless, the campaign was really appealing that’s why she was moved to participate in the campaign.

If you haven't seen the Globe's commercial, here it is and get moved by "TodayIWill!"
