One of the things that I learned from my mom is not to skip breakfast, specially a healthy breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day as it gives us the energy that we need as we work through the day.

According to the Department of Science and Technology – Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI), 6 out of 10 Filipino households suffer from poor nutrition. Having poor or under nutrition stunts mental and physical development while over nutrition leads to obesity and chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. That’s why it is really important to have a healthy breakfast.

Kwento Ni Toto will be waking up very much early on March 9, 2015 as McDonald's celebrate another year of National Breakfast Day. It is their 3rd year celebration and of course the best part of everything is giving away free McMuffins to first 1,000 McDonald's customers. Now isn't it amazing that we get free breakfast on that day!

It's the “world’s biggest breakfast” celebration ever where all participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide and in other countries will each give away a free McMuffin for the first 1,000 customers starting 6:00 a.m.
