Bato in colloquial term means tough and that's what represent the personality and dedication of former PNP Chief Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa as his life is presented in this movie "BATO, The Gen. Ronald dela Rosa Story".

Gen. Bato's popularity heightened when he became the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief and the declaration of war on drugs by the government.

With the tough character of Gen. Bato, it comes a s no surprise that it is matched with the touch personality as well who has been through a lot and proven himself as one of the pillars of the Philippine Film industry, none other but the iconic bad boy of the Philippine action films, Robin Padilla. With his menacing stare and hard-hitting action stunts, Robin fits the role.

During the press conference, Gen. Bato disclosed that he is "takot sa asawa" or afraid of his wife. Yes, he is afraid on a positive side because of his love for his wife. If he's the 4 Star General his wife is the 5 Star General.

To his enemies he is the tough, relentless and umcompromising iron hand who is willing to uphold the law at all costs.


But to his friends and family, he can be the sweet and lovable father figure whose fierce loyalty is aptly complemented by his comic demeanor and good-natured humor, as evinced by some of his candid media interviews.

During the Kapuso CoLab, stars and digital influencers collaborated in creating their very own videos at the Kapuso Online Exclusives Studio. While at the ArtisTambayan Station, digital influencers were be able to interview the cast of GMA's various drama, comedy, and variety programs. Kapuso singers performed with South Border and Brisom Band at the Playlist Live stage.






The most active arm of GMA, it's online advocates, Kapuso Brigade was also present during the Kapuso CoLab to highlight and meet their favorite Kapuso stars. Part of their content creations were using the various pop-up booths around the studio, including the 360-degree glam booth.  The KB members played 'Hop Pico Piko,' a mobile app inspired by the classic Pinoy street game piko, at the GMA NMI (New Media, Inc.) booth.

'The Knight of Shadows' is an action-fantasy epic that revolves around Songling (Chan), a demon hunter defending humanity from an inhuman invasion. When an evil force starts kidnapping village girls to feast on their souls, he sets out to save as he teams up with police detective Fei, played by Austin Lei, and a group of friendly monsters.

Joining the cast of 'The Knight of Shadows' are Elaine Zhong, Lin Peng, and Ethan Juan and it is helmed by up-and-coming filmmaker Jia Lu a.k.a. Vash.

Vash, the director, has been known for his works in the 2010 film 'Batman: Under The Red Hood' with its visual effects and 2014 3D film 'Bugs' as director.

Kiefer Liu, one of the pioneers of 3D in China who created the very successful ‘The Monkey King’, produced ‘The Knight of Shadows’. This new epic movie features exciting action, wild comedy, eternal love, thrilling visual effects, and revelations of a world beyond.

Star Cinema, which has also been releasing Jackie Chan-produced films in recent years--such as 'Reset' in 2017 and 'A Better Tomorrow' last year, brings 'The Knight of Shadows' to Philippine theaters in line with the celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Spreading early love feels this 2019 ith Black Sheep's release of Sakaling Maging Tayo, a coming-of-age romcom movie with the McLisse love team, Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon.

This film, Sakaling Maging Tayo, is dubbed as the reunion of McLisse on the big screen. The movie is anticipated by McLisse fans all over the world. Directed by JP Habac.

The film was shot entirely in the cold climate of Baguio. Director Habac was inspired by the classic romantic films like Kung Mangarap Ka't Magising and Labs Kita... Okey ka lang? Habac drew inspiration from the songs that became part of the movie in Pol and Laya's night of dares and possible romance. The soundtrack features songs from artists like Moira dela Torre, KZ Tandingan, Johnoy Danao, and Ang Bandang Shirley.

The movie Sakaling Maging Tayo is about the story of two college freshmen, Pol (McCoy de Leon) and Laya (Elisse Joson), accidentally meet during their last day of school in Baguio City. Laya is about to move back to Manila to escape from her failed romance, while Pol is about to spend a carefree night in a music festival. After witbessing Laya's breakdown because of her recent heartbreak, Pol gets an idea to make her last night in Baguio fun and memorable. Pol also takes this chance to spend an entire night with the girl he has always admired from afar.

What makes the movie more exciting is the spontaneity of the story as they play dare games. From eating exotic food, to getting random tattoo, to confessing deep dark secrets. In the process their little dares eventually lead to confronting their issues and start to a possible romance.

The movie also stars Bembol Roco, Paulo Angeles, Markus Paterson, Milo Elmido Jr., and Chai Fonacier.
