Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill Spiced Up The Parkway Wing of SM City Fairview

12:58:00 AM

Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill is one of the growing companies in the food and restaurant industry that sets up a new branch in the Northern part of Quezon City in SM City Fairview, one of the known malls in the area. You'll find this location very far from the Metro and is almost at the boundary of Bulacan. This place is maybe far but I'm sure you'll find this place filled with so many things to go to.

To spice up the newest wing of SM City Fairview Parkway, Fiery Style is just the right Tex-Mex restaurant to place in this part of the mall, as they provide quite a variety of dishes to choose from.

Opening its doors to nearby residences, Fiery Style is already receiving quite many guests. The lining up of the crowd in the lobby only proves that people are interested in this Tex-Mex restaurant. I'm a testament to this as I'm one of the guests to partake in their flavorful dishes.

The place isn't big but it can accommodate several guests that will be there to dine and enjoy the live band, especially during weekends. There are plenty of delectable dishes but there are few that interests my palate. For this food journey, I liked their Steak and the Galleon of Bones. I do like the concept of how different dishes were mixed in one serving. Good for a group of four or more. While the steak ala familia is tender enough to bite and feel the juiciness.

Thirsty or not, you can also enjoy their cocktails and drinks. You can enjoy the night away.

Other dishes that might interest you are the Lord of the Wings, which is a selection of chicken wings in different flavors; their tasty Cheesecake for dessert; the Chili Beef Quesadilla that fills your palate; and of course their Fiery Nachos that is coined as the best nachos in town.

Enjoy your dine at Fiery Style! They are open 10AM to 9PM on Mondays to Thursday and 10AM to 10PM on Weekends.

Enjoy and see you around!

5 Themed Cafes for that Extra Christmas Get-Together

12:02:00 AM

In just less than a month a lot of people will start to get busy. It's not because of the work but because the season of giving has started already. The time of the year where people enjoy endless festive gatherings and happy reunions with family and friends. Since festivities require a bigger, comfortable and easy access venue, well we did try to locate some interesting hub for you to experience. For this holiday season, we scouted five themed and interesting cafes across the country that will take your Christmas gatherings to another level of cuteness and joy with the convenience of GCash Scan to Pay. Holiday get-togethers, after all, become extra special when spent over good food, good laughs and pleasant memories in a lovely setting.

1. La Petite Parisienne (Le Village E. Rodriguez Sr. Quezon City)
Let your family or friends try a little slice of Paris in the metro by taking them to this wine bar and restaurant, which translates to “little French girl.” The establishment’s main attraction is its wall-to-ceiling wine library, carrying a wide selection of classic and premium French wines. They also serve artisanal cheeses, pastas, and pastries to complement your Parisian dining. If you want to wine al fresco, herd your companions to their Quezon City branch’s rooftop for a more chill and cozy dining experience.

2. Café Xocolat (Katipunan, Quezon City)
The holiday season is the best time to indulge in anything and everything chocolate. Dining here for a simple Christmas reunion with friends or loved-ones will give you an indulging chocolate fix that will keep you warm and cozy throughout the season, thanks also to their comfy and charming interiors. A must-try is their Xocolat pork belly partnered with cacao bagoong sauce and their Chorizo Blanca, a white chocolate-infused pasta dish. Cap the holiday get-together with their popular drink, Taza de Xocolat for a more decadent chocolate experience.

3. Wizardy Cup Café (Lipa City, Batangas)
Pinoy Potterheads don’t need to apparate to the UK or the Universal Studios in Osaka or even to that massive Harry Potter-themed café in Seoul to relive the wizarding world of the Boy Who Lived. Wizardy Cup Café is a similar Muggle-friendly café that opened late 2017 in Lipa City, where you can bring your friends for some magical Christmas date. While not as grand and intricate (and expensive) as its Korean counterpart, customers get the chance to dress up in Hogwarts robe and carry a wand while in the café. The coffeeshop also accepts requests for customized wands. Their menu features whimsical items with spell-sounding names. Of course, there’s the popular wizarding beverage, Butterbeer!

4. Laundrafe and Co Café (Makati City)
If you’re torn between tackling those mountains of laundry and meeting your friends for a holiday get-together, then this café is your win-win solution. This Dutch-inspired boutique café, which prides itself as the country’s first laundromat and coffee shop in one, will let you do the laundry while enjoying a nice time with friends over Instagram-worthy snacks, meals, desserts, and drinks. It's warm and comfy European-style interiors will make you think you’re home entertaining guests while doing chores on the side.

5. 528 Ilawod Café (Daraga, Albay)
If you’re in this side of the country during the holidays, this café is worth a visit with friends or family. Touted as Albay’s first specialty coffee shop, 528 Ilawod Café offers a more intimate dining experience, tucked in a quiet village where old colonial houses still abound. While its coffee is its top draw (served AeroPress style), its rustic interiors and homey vibe—warm natural accents, beautiful and intricate wall paintings that tell the history of coffee, and old sewing machines turned into tables—also keep diners coming back.

So, do you think you'll get to enjoy these 5 themed cafes for your next venue of celebration? Well, it's always a feel good situation where you can find interesting places.

5 Ways To Enjoy an All-in Sa Sarap and All-in sa Saya #GreenwichSagotKoNa Pizza Party

10:35:00 PM
#GreenwichSagotKoNa

It was mid-week but it feels like it was already a fun weekend night. The good vibes of the venue, the beat of music, and of course the aroma of a tasteful food waiting to be lavished by one barkada. It was an enticing night indeed.

Of course the way to the venue isn't easy. The traffic is really heavy and bad but knowing that you'll be enjoying the All-in sa Sarap and All-in sa Saya Pizza-Rap Barkada Blowout will be a stress reliever, especially if it is #GreenwichSagotKoNa blowout.

#GreenwichSagotKoNa

So treating your barkada or whoever is going to do a blowout will be happy because it is an overload of everything yummy. You all will have a nice feast.
Here are 5 ways to enjoy an all-in sarap and all-in saya at Greenwich.

1. Everything in life is bigger, better and more memorable if it’s all-in. From everyday barkadabonding moments to feasting on your favorite celebratory food – things seem larger than life if it’s done with everything you’ve got, just like Greenwich’s All-In Overload pizza.

2. Of course, when you go all-in with whatever it is you set your mind to do, you can expect to receive great results – aka success. What makes the moment doubly sweeter is when youcelebrate personal successes with those who mean the most to you – your barkada.#GreenwichSagotKoNa outrightly expresses that your success is also your kabarkada’s success.

3. Greenwich has always been a witness to barkada celebratons and it’s just right that it joins in on every Greenwich barkada’s fun by encouraging them to give their friends a virtual pat on the back with the “SAGOT KO NA” pizza party, because the treat is on those who give all-out support to you.

4. The All-In Overload pizza is loaded with ham, pepperoni, burger crumbles, bacon, Italian sausage, and Spanish sausage, plus green bell peppers, pineapples, mushrooms, onions and cheese – that has an all-in flavor in one freshly-made crust! This everything-on-it pizza tastes even better when it’s a “SAGOT KO NA” barkada blowout so you can share your blessings with your barkada.

5. One of the best things about the All-In Overload is that it’s best shared with the barkada. It’s not because it’s too filling, or the quantity can become too overwhelming for one person, but it is just more fun to eat it when the entire barkada is in town! Sharing a pizza that’s overloaded with toppings, flavor and that unmistakable all-in goodness with friends (and loved ones) is enjoyable because it heightens the experience you have with each bite.

With the “SAGOT KO NA” pizza party, Greenwich shows its utmost appreciation to its old and new barkada for choosing to make the brand a part of their lives, moments and memories. So, will you be the one that's to treat? Well, as long as it makes every barkada put together.

The event on that night took inspiration from the All-In Overload TV commercial featuring Greenwichbarkada Yassi Pressman, Robi Domingo and Enrique Gil. The “SAGOT KO NA” revelry is packed with games, surprises, heart-pounding music and rap battles, dancing, and of course, All-In Overload pizzas – just the kind of party that all barkadas will enjoy.

#GreenwichSagotKoNa

Me, I did have enjoy the night munching on the all-in sa sarap pizzas.

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and her son Nate’s New Pinaka-sweet Jollibee Commercial Together, A Must-watch

10:51:00 PM

Mother and son sure enjoy this commercial shoot together. Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid deeply treasures the relationship she has with her son Nate. The mother-son duo’s sweet connection is put front and center in their newest TV commercial for Jollibee.

It is their second commercial together for Jolly Spaghetti, features Regine and Nate’s pinaka-sweet moments as they spend quality time together bonding over the best-tasting (most delicious) Jolly Spaghetti.

Their mother-and-son relationship is full of intimate and loving moments, such as those we see in the video. “He's very sweet,” Regine says of Nate. “He really is malambing ever since. He’s always spending time with me, and our favorite bonding moment is watching TV together. He loves that, and he always wants me to watch what he’s watching.”

Regine shares that they still spend a lot of time together even though Nate is already going to school. “When he doesn't have school, we'll just be in bed together,” she says. “He'll be tinkering with his iPad, then we'll watch TV, then we'll buy Jolly Spaghetti and eat.”

This personal side of Regine and Nate is true to life. She shares that long before they did this commercial, they went to a Jollibee and did something like what they did in the ad. “We went to Jollibee, Nate ordered Jolly Spaghetti for us, we ate and took pictures,” she recounted. “It’s the exact scenario.”

It’s no coincidence that Regine and Nate are Jollibee’s endorsers of choice. Nate simply couldn’t get enough of the meatiest, cheesiest, sweet-sarap Jolly Spaghetti.

“He loves Jolly Spaghetti. This is no joke,” Regine says. “On his first day of taping, he’s like, ‘I want to eat it!’ But he couldn’t yet. If he has a choice, he’ll eat it. He really loves it.”

You also won’t be able to resist the meatiest, cheesiest, sweet-sarap Jolly Spaghetti—especially since the best-tasting Spaghetti is now made even more affordable. You can now get your favorite Jolly Spaghetti Solo for only P50, PHP55.00 for the Jolly Spaghetti w/ Drink, and for birthdays or special occasions the Jolly Spaghetti Family Pan (Good for 4-5) is only PHP200.00. All of which are available in Jollibee stores nationwide for dine-in, take-out, delivery, and drive-thru.

Don’t forget to like Jollibee Philippines on Facebook, subscribe to Jollibee Studios on YouTube, and follow @jollibee on Twitter and Instagram for more info and updates.

9 Unli Fusion Dishes From Hodai Restaurant To Fill Your Hungry Tummy

1:10:00 AM

Hodai means "Unlimited or Unli" and by that Hodai Restaurant offers its visitors nine (9) different fusion dishes to go crazy about and fill that hungry tummy. It's a new restaurant located in one of the residential but busy section of West Triangle. To be exact the restaurant is in Examiner Street, West Triangle, Quezon City. Just a few walks away from West Avenue.

If you're familiar with the place you'll eventually know that the place is one of the many residential residences in Quezon City that have big cuts of lands. More space than the current house and lots in the metro.  Hodai Restaurant rented the place from the owner and gladly they were able to maintain the house's original identity. Some of the prominent features of the house that you'll eventually notice that it is an old house is the elevated received area or sala, the half-level of elevation from the kitchen or CR, and the most interesting part is the stars which are considered to an antique stair already. These kinds of houses are built int he late 50s or early 60s.

What made me visit this place? Well, they have this interesting 100 Days Anniversary Promo with 40% off. Their Silver and Gold Sets are off with that 40%, from Php499 to Php299 and from Php599 to Php359, respectively. Value for money and satisfaction for the tummy.

So, if you'll be planning to visit Hodai here are my recommended 9 Unli Fusion Dishes review for you. I just so happen had a great time dining at Hodai. Take note that their dishes are fusion so don't expect something of your usual flavor.

Pork Tonkatsu - if you're familiar with the Japanese dish Pork Tonkatsu it means pork cutlet that is smeared with bread crumbs, deep-fried and served with Japanese Worcestershire sauce, rice, and vegetable that is mainly cabbage. The Hodai version is the same, though, it is a bit thinner slices, perhaps to make it more easily chop and munched.

Chicken Karaage - the Karaage is simply described as "fry". So whatever it is, whether chicken, pork or anything it is just one thing... it is fried. So, with the served Hodai version, I find it interesting as it is chopped just right for munching. I think other than having it as a dish, it is also good to pair with beer or sake.

Seafood Pasta - This one is a little bit confusing for me. At first, I thought it was ramen but it was not and I find it a little bit interesting because of the mussels on top fo the pasta (which I thought ramen noodles). But then again after tasting the flavor I really savor the flavor. It's much much creamier that I think I might go back and try a bowl if I can finish it in just one sitting.

Kani Salad - One of the appetizers that are really good and one of my favorites. Mostly cabbage mixed with crab meat strips some flavorful sauce (which I don't have any idea about the mixture of the sauce).

Assorted Sushi - Of course Japanese dish wouldn't be complete without the sushi and maki rolls being taken by the other customers. Sometimes it's really hard to maintain establishments like this.

Spicy Barbeque in Chile Sauce - This specific dish is not surprising enough for others, I'm not sure how it is called or is it Filipino or Japanese.

Tempura - yes, that crunchy coating that covers the sweet and tasty meat of shrimps. I really love it very much and if only I was still young that unlimited serving of Tempura would be great.

Steamed Tofu - if you're into being a healthy buff, well, some of the dishes offered by Hodai isn't for you but there are two that you enjoy and one of them is the steamed tofu. It may be bland at first but once you taste the flavor you'll definitely enjoy it very much.

Fish Teriyaki - the Teriyaki according to google dictionary means any fish or meat marinated in soy sauce and grilled. Basically, it is a grilled dish and for this instance, it is a fish, which I really enjoyed the flavor. I'm not really sure if it is a Fish Teriyaki but it's more likely of a Karaage but anyway since it is a fusion restaurant anything can be possible.

Ms. Sam (one of the owner)

So, there you go my nine (9) reasons for you to dine it at Hodai. The nine (9) dishes that will truly fill you up. Enjoy your dine at Hodai.

I'll be coming back here very very soon!

8:12:00 AM

An old Pinoy menu with new and twisted unique food concept, created to bring the popular all-day breakfast to a new level of meal experience. The meal is basically a fusion of garlic fried rice, fried egg and any dish like tapa (cured beef slices), or chicken, thus, creating it's well known name tapsilog, which is a derivation from tapa for tap, sinangag or fried rice for si, and itlog for log. As time goes on, more and new dishes were combined together to bring a wide variety of dishes to enjoy like tosilog, longsilog and more. BACSI Bro's is the name, new concept with an old signature meal that aims to bring good all-day breakfast when you need it.

Just recently, BACSI Bro's opened its first branch in Ayala Malls Marikina which is located at the Liwasang Kalayaan. A not very familiar place for someone who's not from Marikina. It is more of a community mall with a two story established that features different stores for the convenience of the residents and near by places. BACSI Bro's is located at the 2nd Floor in the Food Choices section of the mall.

The event was graced by one of the hottest male actor of his generation, very well known for the movie Glorious, Tony Labrusca, the endorser of BACSI Bros. He gamely and enthusiastically entertained the interview of the press and bloggers, and enjoyed the crazy time with the fans and followers for a meet and greet, who happens to enjoy BACSI Bro's products. Lucky fans were able to have an upclose photo with the heartthrob Tony Labrusca.

BACSI Bro's offers 5 interesting variants in two kinds of serving - in a Wrap (Pita Bread) or a Box (Rice).

BACSI Wrap / BACSI Bro - It is a combination of crispy juicy bacon, golden scrambled eggs, topped with cheesy cheese sauce and wrapped in baked pita bread or mixed with rice.

CORNSI Wrap / CORNSI Bro - It is a combination of corned beef, golden scrambled eggs, and the intriguing signature sauces wrapped in baked pita bread or mixed with rice.

Aside from these interesting 5 variants they also offer the CHICKSI Bro and PORKSI Bro.

Wraps are priced at Php60.00 while the rice meals are priced at Php75.00. The Chicksi and Porksi Bros are priced at Php90.00. Basically, the whole selections cater to all ages to enjoy.

The wraps are just what people on-the-go needs while the rice meals are for those who want to enjoy these comfort foods together with friends or love ones. If you ask me what do I recommend... well I'd go for the BACSI and the TOCI whether its wrap or rice meal.
