With roughly 260 entries, the much-awaited 2016 World Slasher Cup-2 8-Cock Invitational Derby takes center stage at the Smart Araneta Coliseum starting Thursday, May 26, as a fitting sequel to the record-setting 2016 World Slasher Cup-1 last January with 410 registered entries.

The first set of competitors, composed of an estimated 135 foreign and local entries, collide against each on Day One at 10 a.m.

The powerhouse homegrown team will parade a line-up of world champions such as reigning 2016 World Slasher Cup-1 victors Blue Blade Farm led by Engr. Sonny Lagon, and Phoenix II comprised of Mario VIllamor, Ed Apari and Atty. Art de Castro.
