Batangas Food Fest in Matabungkay Beach and Hotel

My correspondent Jefferson aka Justin did dig in with the foods in the Batangas Food Fest in Matabungkay Beach Hotel.  Kwento Ni Toto wasn't able to join in with the other bloggers because of the busy schedule.  So for this particular event Justin fill in and enjoyed his stay together with the other bloggers in Batangas.  Read the story as Justin unravels flavors and scene in the said event.

Located in Lian, Batangas, me, together with the other bloggers were greeted as we arrived in the place. We were welcomed by the owner of the resort Ms. Charley Leviste Antonio together with one of our blogger friends friend, the mother of Jobim Jalbuena one of the participants in the concluded Junior Master Chef.

The place was great and it is just beside the Beach.  As we all know or for some of the oldies already, Matabungkay has been known for its great beaches that's why it is visited by numerous vacationers.  The hotel got great amenities and what we looked forward to and the reason we're here is the food festival. I consider food as part of every good vacation break and MBH featured a lot of food that they have in their buffet. This is what I deeply recommend to those who will be coming to this place.

What's so interesting about MBH is that they featured two of the talented participants of the recently concluded Junior Master Chef, namely Jobim Jalbuena and Tricia Baylosis. They are the highlights the Batangas Food Fest in MBH aside from featuring food delicacies of Batangas. It was even highlighted during the cooking demo that they have conducted together with the other chefs from Magnolia. They presented some of their best recipes with a touch of the ingredients found in Batangas.

Jobim Jalbuena prepared a "Binarakong Baka" a very authentic taste which Jobim includes some delicacies from Batangas. While Tricia Baylosis prepared a "Kalderetang Kambing with Couscous Rice". These menus will be present as well in the line of food to lavish in Matabungkay Beach Hotel.  They will have this serve for the whole month of November.

If you like ice cream then be interested in these two unusual preparation of ice creams.  Chef Manny of Magnolia ice cream made a twist of the usual ice that we have for desert. This time he did a very unusual and interesting preparation of the ice cream.   If you both love sizzling and ice cream then this is good for you.  A sizzling ice cream and a deep fried ice cream. Interesting, isn't it?  Chef Manny use a sizzling plate for the preparation of the ice cream. A very delicious food with an unusual preparation. Well I couldn't really explain more so you better catch it by visiting MBH to personally taste it because it is exclusively available only in MBH.

Aside from the sizzling ice cream, another hot preparation of ice cream was made and this time the ice cream was fried and not only just fried but deep fried. I'm sure your thoughts are already working and thinking how they do it. Well, they rolled an ice cream ball on some plenty of bread crumbs and together with the other ingredients, then have it fried on hot oil in just a few seconds, and presto, a deep fried ice cream.

A very different kind of ice cream only at Matabungkay Beach Resort and Hotel.

After the Batangas Food Fest in MBH, we were given a chance to experience the place and the amenities plus a chance to see the sunrise along the beach. We did have a great time.  It's an experience that I enjoyed very much.  A perfect treat before graduating!
