Joross and Roxanne Is In For Another Season of "HOY, LOVE YOU”

 

Kilig will abound as Kapamilya fans get to catch more of the love story of Jules and Marge played by Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo-Yap as there will be a season 2 of ABS-CBN’s “Hoy, Love You.”

The first season of the romantic comedy sitcom, which first streamed on iWantTFC, is currently airing on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), and A2Z.

The good news was announced during the celebrity screening of “Hoy, Love You” last Saturday (July 31) that made the cast and the director, Theodore Boborol, extremely happy.

“Sobrang blessed kami na tinangkilik kami ng mga tao sa iWantTFC. Bilang lang yung mga show na may season 2. So yung nagawa namin ang season 1, gusto lang namin magpasaya ng mga tao, especially ngayong pandemic and we are thankful and grateful na ginagamit din kaming blessing para magpasaya pa ng mga tao,” he said.

Lead stars Joross and Roxanne also expressed their gratitude for the success of their reunion project, which was still shot at the Submarine Garden Beach Resort in Lobo, Batangas.

“Maraming maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga sumuporta sa amin. Kung hindi niyo talaga sinuportahan kami sa iWantTFC, hindi kami mapupunta sa platform na 'to. Ngayon sana, suportahan niyo ulit kami sa season 2 para magkita kita tayo ulit,” Joross shared.

 
Roxanne added, “Nasabi na nila ang lahat. From Tita Linggit to Direk, to the staff, to my co-actors, and sa inyong lahat, maraming, maraming salamat.”

Adding to the fun for the upcoming season of “Hoy, Love You” are Ritz Azul who will play Mika, the nemesis of Jules and Marge; Hasna Cabral who will serve as Kitty, Mika’s sidekick; and Lou Veloso as Lolo Bruno, a strict grandpa of his grandkids.

Meanwhile, viewers of Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z will witness this weekend how Jules and Marge will slowly fall in love, but will their children approve of their blossoming romance? Find out on “Hoy, Love You” this Saturday at 9:30 pm.
