5:25:00 PM
Well aware that movies created by Star Cinema is a hit and much more is when its actors are known to be a box office hit maker like Vice Ganda, for this yuletide season a reason to hit cinema and a new reason to be fun and merry with the adventure-comedy film "The Revenger Squad".

From the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda with Daniel Padilla, and introducing 2015 Miss Universe Ms. Pia Wurtzbach in her comeback film role after her win, "The Revenger Squad" is one of the movie entry for the 43rd Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) under the label of Star Cinema and Viva Films.

The Revengers Squad marks the coming together of Vice Ganda, Padilla, Wurtzbach, and director Bb. Joyce Bernal – a certified dream team composed of talented members who are individually considered as four of the country’s biggest entertainment icons.

There are 3 reasons that we have realized why "The Revenger Squad" is a hit with the kids and I'm sure you would want to know it.

First reason, "The Revenger Squad" implores a vey vibrant colors that kids are easily attracted with. They show much attention when they are given a photo of video with vibrant, warm and active colors.

Second reason, Vice Ganda is a hit maker and idolized by kids, Daniel Padilla is also an idol and lastly Pia Wurtzbach is a beauty queen idol. Now who wouldn't want to see them together as they play they funny antics, drama and adventure. Kids love to see their idols and when they watch the movie it is not just them that will watch but the whole family as well.

Lastly, Kids easily laugh and their innocence make it more convincing to encourage others to watch the movie. No money is not an option when it comes to the little ones. Parents would love to see their kids happy, especially during the holidays and to add "minsan lang sila bata."

Adding color to the lineup of stars is Wurtzbach, who created international headlines when she was crowned Miss Universe in the historic Miss Universe 2015 pageant. She snatched the coveted title and brought a well-deserved honor to the Philippines and to every Filipino in the most dramatic of fashions, transcending her status from celebrity to the exhilarating level of both national hero and national treasure.

Under the helm of Bernal and written by Danno Mariquit, “The Revenger Squad” marks a lot of firsts for Vice, Padilla, and Wurtzbach. This is the first time that Vice Ganda and Padilla will be doing a superhero film, with the latter also trying his hand in comedy the first time. Meantime, this is the big screen debut of Wurtzbach after her big win.
The story of “The Revenger Squad” revolves around makeup and rags reseller Emy (Vice Ganda) who, despite his faulty memory, never forgets to guard his younger brother Chino (Daniel Padilla) from harm – to the point of becoming overprotective of his younger brother. The fun begins when Chino turns 21 and Emy remembers the truth about them – that he is the superhero Gandarra and that Chino’s super abilities will soon activate now that he is an adult. Wanting to shelter Chino from the dangers of being a superhero, Emy keeps the truth from his brother and becomes even more protective.
This, until a new superhero emerges, Rapiddo, who Emy discovers is his younger brother Chino. He then decides to become Gandarra again to secretly help and protect his brother. Together with Emy’s super best buddies, Gandarra and Rapiddo become a squad of superheroes who treat each other as family.

The conflict begins when the eccentric superhero Kweenie (Pia Wurtzbach) enters their lives and drops the truth that could break their family.
Completing the team of Gandarra, Kweenie, and Rapiddo are the motley group of lovable super heroes namely Barna (Carla Estrada), Higopa (MC Calaquian), Flawlessa (Lassy Marquez), Pospora (Wacky Kiray), and Enrique Heal (JJ Quilantang).

What makes a hero super? Is it special abilities and superpowers? Or is it the innate ability of the hero to love? Will love, laughter, and joy save the day from the forces of evil?
