The best way to celebrate birthdays is to go with a bang! Not the bang of firecrackers but the bang of having a lot of things to celebrate. Yes, and 7-Eleven has made its celebration a day of many things to enjoy. It's a happy 7-Elven Day Celebration!

Perhaps 7-Eleven is one of the convenient store that is well loved by many and for the kids who grew up in the 90s might say one thing about 7-Eleven... it's SLURPEE! Yes, in my generation this store has made every youngster feel how it is to enjoy soda differently and slurpee is what made it possible, a brain freeze.

Of course other than slurpee there are other treats to enjoy, an easy grab of hotdog sandwich and other tummy filling treats. That's what makes this store appealing to youngsters, an fast snack for a hungry tummy.

Last July 11was the biggest day for the store as it celebrates its birthday. Celebrating another milestone as it turns another year older. As part of its celebration, 7-Eleven is giving back something to its loyal customers and the communities they serve through a series of concerts, promos and more treats starting its day of celebration. This is their way of giving thanks for all the support and continued patronage.
Starting with the treats, 7-Eleven's CLiQQ Every Day! Deals were launched on that day and to start the treat of deals. CLiQQ users can choose 1 out of 3 mystery boxes available starting July 11! Products up for grabs changes daily so customers can choose from a wide range of daily deals. CLiQQ users may redeem the product within 24 hours and claim them within the month.


Slurpee x Big Bite Rock Back to School Combo is another treat that customers can enjoy with 7-Eleven. Students get the first taste of 7 Eleven's overflowing treat starting with a special deal with the ultimate budget back to school combo for slurpee and Big Bite, only for P49 (save 5) from July 5 to August 15, 2017. A portion of the Sales for this promo will be donated to the student council of 8 selected colleges/universities.

Our favorite Kapitbahay is also prepared a concert last July 11 to celebrate their Happy 7 Eleven Day at Eton Centris dubbed as Rock Back to School Concert which I attended. The concert featuring acts like 6cyclemind, Moonstar88, Gracenote and many more. Aside from thi, the concert series will go to different colleges and universities in Metro Manila including Adamson University, Pamantasang Lungsod ng Maynila, University of Santo Tomas and more.


To further amp up the excitement, there will be e-raffles for the chance to win 24 Bose Soundsport earphones, another 24 winners of Bose  Soundlink speakers, and 5 winners of backstage passes to the  Rock Back To School Concert Series.

Right before the big day for 7-Eleven there were other activities and treats were run. On their 7-Eleven LV Locsin Store and all Bacolod and Iloilo stores they had a treat for Slurpee and City blends lovers where customer enjoyed the refreshing Slurpee and coffee together with a friend for free. More of like buy one and share one.

Another activity was the Cup of Thankful: Calligraphy Event which happened in 7-Eleven LV Locsin Store where customers had their message appreciation written in the most artful way possible with  renowned calligraphist Carl Chua.

As 7 Eleven celebrates being part of every Filipino's daily live, 7 Eleven also reached out to our brothers and sisters who were affected by the conflict in Marawi. Donation Boxes were deployed in all corporate 7 Eleven stores in Mindanao.
Employees and customers had the opportunity to share their blessings to help the victims by providing them with food and other in kind donations. This charitable drive started last June and will last until July 11.

Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC) also partnered with PhilSeven Foundation Inc. (PFI) and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) to support the 7 Eleven Global Environmental Campaign by sustaining a tree planting project at the Marikina Watershed at the Brgy. Calawis, Antipolo City.

Employees get to volunteer, along with community to enhance two hectares of an agroforesty side through the planting of 1550 fruit-bearing trees. With this activity, 7 Eleven hopes to improve the biodiversity of the Marikina Watershed and provide at least 20 households with additional income.
