Because of these achievements, he is among the 33 personalities who were honored by the President and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). This was conferred at the 15th Ani ng Dangal Awards of the NCCA, led by President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos last February 22, 2023, at the Ceremonial Hall of Malacañan Palace.

In an interview with Benjie Austria, "Of course, I am happy and overwhelmed that he received international recognition as the best actor in Harlem, New York, so thank you to the government for acknowledging this through NCCA since this is a first venture project under Bentria productions."
