One of the big companies running in the Philippines, Transcom Worldwide Philippines, raves their more than 2,000 employees to a night of good Pinoy music. Transcom Worldwide Philippines’ Manila sites gathered at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig City last September 14, 2019 to celebrate camaraderie and togetherness in the second year of the company’s MusicFest dubbed as Tunog Transcom Tayo.

It's a night of more than the booze but of talent and the love for music. These number of employees sung and enjoyed the night. It's not always working, so for this time, it's about having their night off from work and of course the cause.


The event was graced by live performances from various well-loved Filipino musicians and bands such as Ebe Dancel, Mayonnaise, Chiquerella, Sponge Cola, Where’s Ramona, This Band, Ben&Ben, and Aegis.

"As we've been transforming our business in recent years, creating a positive culture where our folks can express themselves has been and continues to be a key focus. It's another late night concert but this time it's in Metrowalk's Music Hall in Ortigas Ave., Pasig City. A night of interesting music from relatively interesting singers - Kiel Alo, Carlo Mendoza, and LA Santos. A staged concert entitled "THREE's A COMPANY" under the musical direction of Mr. Butch Miraflor. Just a good dry night to experience songs, comedy and entertainment after a few days of rain and bed weather together with the trios family, friends, guests and fans.

I think this is the first time that these trio will be featured on my blog so it is just right to give a few details about them. Kiel Alo is a romantic balladeer who have been performing in the music industry for quite a number of years already and he has already stage his own concert "It's My Turn". Carlo Mendoza is a rising star in the music industry, which have been seen performed in several concerts like the Music and Me concert of Macoy Mendoza. LA Santos, young singer who have been performing already in the music and concert scene, some of her performances were front act to some International singers and also OPM singers.

"Threes A Company" concert guests Laarni Lozada, Pinoy Dream academy Season 2 winner, the comic duo AJ Tamiza and Le Chazz, and icon impersonator Dulce Viado. It was an entertaining night because aside from the different performances of the trio, Laarni gave a powerful vocals with her rendition of Juan Karlos "Buwan", the crazy antics of the duo Tamiza and Chazz that really made the whole Music Hall laugh, and the funny lip sync performance of Dulce.

I never thought that these male singers can really be sound good in a female hit songs. Some of these hit songs are the Titibo-Tibo, and Disney Songs.

According to the trio the concert songs and the blending of their voices wouldn't be possible without the guidance of Mr. Butch Miraflor, their musical director that really hit them with a lot of practices right before the concert date. They also added that Mr. Miraflor made magic to make their performance interestingly good. They manage also to get close because of their interest and passion in music, plus their bonding time. They were able to know each other and are looking forward for more collaborative projects.

LA Santos

The night's concert also served as the venue to launch their latest singles. LA with his revival version of the classic song "Isang Linggong Pag-ibig", Kiel's "Aasa Ka Ba" and Carlo's "Bituin". The songs of Kiel and Carlo were composed by renowned song writer Mr. Vehnee Saturno who is by way present at the concert.

So, want to know more about the trio, Kiel, Carlo and LA, well they're going to have different rounds of their activities like for LA he shared that he'll be releasing his YouTube Channel and some singles that he'll be releasing very very soon. While for Carlo and Kiel will be part of a musical play from Gantimpala Theater which is about "Noli Me Tangere". Basically they will be busy in the coming days with their different careers.

Two of the big names in the music industry, ABS-CBN's Star Power Female Pop Superstar Grand Champion turned Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs, Angeline Quinto and The Ultimate Entertainer, K Brosas, will take one of the biggest concert venues in the country with their concert "Angeline K 'To, Concert Namin 'To" which will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on July 12, 2019.

Coming from the success of Erik Santos and Yeng Constantino's collaboration concert titled "Extraordinary" last May and "Just Right" featuring Richard Poon and Jessa Zaragoza this June, at the Resort World-Manila, Cornerstone Concerts, under the management of Cornerstone Entertainment, continues to be one of the leading event producers in the local concert scene with surprising combination of OPM artists.

So, what will be expected from this concert from Angeline and K? Well, during our interviews with them there are plenty of new things to expect, as this is one of the shows that will surely make you come out with joy.

1. Production numbers. Well, according to them there will be a 'pasabog' production numbers that viewers will enjoy. There's not much of a details but they will doing  production number that will number over power each one of them. A just right mix of entertainment.

2. Birit songs. Of course, this concert will not be complete without the birit songs from the Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs herself, Angeline. During the blogcon Ms. K Brosas disclosed and shared that Angeline is "halimaw" (monster) in singing, especially the high pitch songs.

3. Outfits. The bonggang bongang (extravagant) outfits will be showcased in the show. According to them they will be having some matching (terno) outfits to showcase each one's figures. Of course not only the voice is needed on this concert but also the looks of the artists, so it's a must.

4. Guests. Well, it's not a surprise anymore but Angeline and K will be having a bunch of male guest performers. I was able to ask them why all males and it was clearly answered that it is much easier to match an entertaining production number. And besides both of them are already females so there's no need to add more female performers in scene. Their guests are Erik Santos, Empoy, Hashtags - Zeus, CK, Jameson, Nikko & Rayt, and OPM Icon Mr. Ogie Alcasid.

5. A lot of firsts. Yes, audience will definitely expect a lot of first things from Angeline in this concert. According to Angeline in joke comment that she doesn't know if after the concert she'll still have a job to come back to.





What is more interesting about this two ladies is that Angeline and K are close friends in real life. They have a natural chemistry in bringing hilarious entertainment that most describes their phenomenal team up. Combining the good music and the right comedy. It's the best indication of what they can offer being one of the best from two different lines in the industry.

One of the child actors who have grown much in the showbiz industry and has shown a colorful path from child actor to action star to award-winning heartthrob. Now, he'll be creating a new palette of colors in his singing career, as a legitimate concert performer.

Stephen Ian Lopez Veneracion, like his love for the arts and the outdoors, takes pride in constantly seeking new adventures to tackle and new subjects to portray. Though shy and not too confident about his talent, his passion for music goes way back. "Playing music has always been a huge part of my private life, but it's only recently that I've come to realize the possibility of other people enjoying my taste in music... in the way I approach it."

Just like his multitude of roles in the movie industry, he also manages to pitch in a wide diversity of song selections, he relates that "I try to play songs in a different light, influenced by my own musical tastes."

So what are his top 6 musical influences? Well, Ian Veneracion terms this as "old school". The concert is a tell-all journey of his life, his moods and his thoughts through music. it will paint a picture of what Ian is in real life, baring his dressed down persona.

1. Sting or Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, is an English musician and actor. Before he went solo he was part of the rock band called The Police. He's been with the group from 1977 to 1984. 5. Peter Frampton or Peter Kenneth Frampton is an English rock musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist. He was also previously associated with the bands Humble Pie and The Herd.  If you know some of his songs, well some of them are Do You Feel Like We Do, Baby I Love Your Way, and Show Me The Way.

6. Fra Lippo Lippi is a Norwegian band that consists of Per Oystein Sorensen, Rune Kristoffersen, Morten, Sjoberg, Oyvind Kvalnes, and Bjorn Sorknes.  The band name is derived form Robert Browning's poem about the Renaissance painter Filippo Lippi. Some of their hits in the 80s are Shouldn't Have to Be Like That, Everytime I See You and Light and Shade.

This year's concert will have a totally different approach. He reveals that, "Since it will be in Music Museum, it will be more intimate, hence more interactive. Plus, the arrangements of the songs are something I would describe as musically more playful."

If you're aware, Ian has already released his own compositions on Spotify like "We're All Alone" and "I'll Miss You the Most". So, this means that he's really serious in taking his musical career. A new form of arts for him as his canvass.

He admits that as long as there are people interested in watching his shows, he is open to it, but explains, "but the main point of this new road is a realization that whether in front of a big crowd, or just jamming with friends, I've come to terms with the fact that I can't psychologically survive without music. Just like in other forms of art, music is its own reward. The music but got me!"

Jamming with Ian in his concert are Ogie Alcasid on July 11 and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid on July 12. Other surprise guests are also expected to come and join the jam!

Four of the top OPM icons, Ogie Alcasid, Dingdong Avanzado, Randy Santiago and Gary Valenciano, will be sharing the stage together in a one night concert "GREEN and GO" on July 6, 2019 8PM at the FilOil Flying V Center. This is the first time that these four icons of the music industry will be singing and performing together, so it's going to be an interesting and fun night.

The Comedy Queen, Ai Ai Delas Alas, known for her tanga outfit whenever she performs might go a little bit wholesome as she conducts a benefit concert this coming June 24, 2019. Details of the concert is yet to confirm but it was assured that it's going to be filled with great performances.

It's not always funny antics and work for the Comedy Queen, knowing Ms Ai Ai, she will help whenever she can, specially for the church. That's a 100% sure. I think she believes that sharing your blessings is the right thing to do and will bring back ten folds. Probably that's one of her advocacy.

Speaking of advocacy, Ms Ai Ai pushes her service as she also head the team inviting other performers to join the Benefit Concert for the Kristong Hari Church which will on June 24 at Araneta Coliseum. One of her brand endorsement, Hobe Quick Cook Noodles, supports her on this project.

Nonoy Zuniga, the icon and hitmaker who have dedicated himself in giving music fanatics great music and quality songs will be staging be a concert at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila entitled "Nonoy Zuniga... Through the Years" on March 13, 2019.

After being in the music industry for more than three decades, from being a folk singer to the hitmaker, Nonoy Zuniga is still up for more. During the press conference held in Pamana, he shared to the members of the media and bloggers that he still dreaming to give more and one of his dream concert of which he considered very expensive to do but he still dreams of it. He also shared that he's very open with collaboaring with different singers and artist. He even goes to the level of hoping to collaborate with a rapper.


For people who still doesn't have a hint of Nonoy Zuniga's hit songs some of it are "Doon Lang", "Kamusta ka?", "Magandang Gabi" and "Never Ever Say Goodbye".

Another interesting fact about Nonoy Zuniga is that he is also a Doctor of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas. Being a skincare specialist, together with a professional esthetician, Ms Sylvia Cancio who owns Piel Acne and Skin Clinic in New York they established Piel Skincare Center in Cebu City. Currently, Nonoy enjoys his life travelling Las Vegas to Manila and Cebu singing and managing Piel Skincare Center.


Nonoy shared that the concert will be introducing a new artist or an upcoming talent during the concert and her name is Jeselle Kempis. Jeselle revealed that "I am a trained pop singer. I've been training since childhood and singing in private events. Iy has hardly ocurred to me that I can perform in aprofessional concert for which people have to buy tickets. I'm both happy and nervous to perform at 'Nonoy Zuniga... Through the Years."

The concert will guests seasoned artists like the South Border, Nyoy Volante, and Mitch Valdez, with Andrew de Real as stage director and Bobby Gomez as musical director with the Brothers Unlimited.
