Little Mix’s JADE Debuts Bold New Song "IT Girl" for 2025

The bold electro-pop track, filled with heavy bass and cheeky flair, was co-written by JADE alongside producers Cirkut and Lostboy, known for their work with Charli XCX and Lady Gaga. The song’s sharp lyrics draw from JADE’s personal journey through the music industry, shedding light on the demanding and often cutthroat side of fame.
Fans have eagerly awaited the release ever since a snippet was teased at the end of JADE’s previous hit, "Angel of My Dreams." The teaser sparked a frenzy, with many clamoring for the full track.
“‘IT Girl’ is like the feisty little sister to ‘Angel of My Dreams,’” JADE explains. “There’s still a lot people don’t know about me, and I wanted to surprise them and stir things up a bit. I write from my experiences, and I won’t sugarcoat it. This is my reality.”

JADE ended 2024 on a high note by receiving the Trailblazer Award at The Rolling Stone UK Awards and gracing the cover of the iconic magazine. Her name appeared on several year-end “Best Of” lists, with "Angel of My Dreams" earning the No. 1 spot on DIY Magazine’s top songs of 2024. The track also made it to the Top 10 lists of The Guardian, DORK, Clash, and NME, while Dazed crowned its music video as the year's best.
Commercially, "Angel of My Dreams" was a smash hit, amassing over 80 million streams and debuting at No. 7 on the UK Official Singles Chart—the third highest new entry for a British artist in 2024. Its music video topped YouTube’s trending list for 10 days straight, racking up 10 million views. The song stayed in the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart for two months.
Following this success, JADE released two more tracks: "Midnight Cowboy," a sultry, bass-driven tune about embracing one’s sexuality, and "Fantasy," a sleek disco-infused song with a stunning video directed by the legendary David LaChapelle.
