2 Situations Tackled in the Movie Mama's Girl

Kicking off the year with a dramatical and inspirational movie, Mama's Girl, with Sylvia Sanchez and Sofia Andres. The movie tackles two situations of today's generation, the generation gap and the millennial life.
Having 4 generations in todays society it is just right that this movie helps in the bridg8ling the gap. And it also a benefit to the older generations to learn life of the millennials and also to provide advises.
"We want to start the year right by giving our audience something that will inspire them more to embrace change, make more time for the people who matter the most and live life to the fullest," according to Ms Roselle Monteverde. Mama's Girl will be shown in cinemas this January 17, 2018.
As for Sylvia Sanchez, she considers this movie as a blessing as she starts 2018. According to her viewers will see a different mother role, a martyr and a fighter.
Sylvia is very much confident that a lot of people, especially moms and daughters, will be able to relate themselves to the characters. She said that through the film, parents and their millennial kids will understand each other's journey.
For Sofia, she's thankful to the movie as it served as an eye-opener. "My character Abby and I are a bit on the same phase wherein we want to try to be more adventurous to the point that we sometimes overlook our parent's concern. Sa movie, young people like me will realize that there are life lessons that we need to learn the hard way at wala kang ibang dapat gawin k7ndi matutong manindigan at magbago para sa ikabubuti mo."
The movie is under the direction of Connie S.A. Macatuno. Also starring in Mama's Girl are Diwgo Loyzaga and Jameson Blake. Completing the cast are Yana Asistio, Heaven Peralejo, Karen Reyes, Arlene Mulach, Allan Paule, Alora Sasam, among others.
