One of the most celebrated event in the world with month long activities, mostly of beer drinkers, the October Beer Fest. It is celebrated internationally and locally. And for that , San Miguel as one of the leading and oldest provider of beer and celebrates the goodness of beer through their month-long celebration the San Miguel Oktoberfest.

The celebration includes different events nationwide, beer drinking, bands, even the Pulutan Challenge and other activities that includes the celebration good food and cold beer.

It's really great when you’re being considered as an expert for the part of tasting pulutan. Just before the start of the October month, San Miguel Oktoberfest initiated their competition by inviting stalls to participate in the challenge. By bringing in to their dear patrons the good food that they can offer.

In the event I attended at the Burrrpp Food Tent and where I am invited as a judge, I was able to grace their event, do the judging, taste their dishes and of course had a very cold bottle of beer. It was a cool experience judging the pulutans and much more I enjoyed the night.

The challenge isn't over yet because there will be a continuation to announce the winner of the challenge.
