One Direction are pleased to announce ‘Bring Me To 1D’, a global ‘Go1Den’ Ticket’ competition that will see winners jet to New York from all over the world to see the boys in concert at Madison Square Garden in December.

Go1Den tickets to the concert have been distributed worldwide and can be won in several ways. Tickets can be won in a variety of different ways in each country. They vary from completing challenges, creating content, answering questions to just plain pot luck.

Those who are lucky enough to win a go1Den ticket will be able to take a friend and parent/guardian to New York for an incredible sell-out show at Madison Square Garden on 3rd December. On the day after the concert, there will be an exclusive winners-only event, with activities planned and the opportunity to meet Liam, Niall, Louis, Harry and Zayn themselves.
Fans who wish to get their hands on a go1Den ticket should start paying close attention to One Direction’s official Facebook, Twitter and You Tube accounts, as there will be frequent special challenges in the next two months, some that will be region-specific. Go1Den ticket winners will be announced on the band’s official website as they win, so that fans can follow the story wherever it’s happening in the world.

Selling 12 million records worldwide in little over a year, One Direction have reached No.1 in 27 different countries. Their new album ‘Take Me Home’ will be released November 12th in the UK, while their single ‘Live While We’re Young’ became the fastest selling pre-order in history when it was announced in September.

One Direction have notched up an incredible 12 million sales worldwide in less than a year including 8 million singles, 3 million albums and a million DVDs. To celebrate this amazing success the band were presented with a special disc last night by Syco and Sony Music.

One Direction’s debut album ‘Up All Night’ has sold over 3 million copies worldwide and has hit No.1 in 16 different countries, including the USA where they became the first ever UK band to debut at No.1 on the US Billboard chart. The album is currently the top selling debut album of 2012 in the US.

In the USA ‘Up All Night’ has been certified platinum with over 1 million sales, whilst ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ has sold over 3 million copies in the US and 5 million worldwide. Their live DVD is also 3 x platinum in the US. In the UK ‘Up All Night’ is at double platinum status, whilst their DVD is the biggest selling music DVD of the year.

Liam from the band says: “We are obviously ecstatic and incredibly humbled by our award today. We have an incredible team of people around us who have helped us achieve this and above all we would like to thank our fans. We owe all our success to them.”

The band will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6th, and have been nominated for two awards, Best Pop Act and Best Pop Video. They will play a special concert at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 3rd, before embarking on a sell-out worldwide tour in 2013. One Direction recently took home three awards at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards including Choice Music Breakout Group, Choice Music Star Group and Choice Summer Song for ‘What Makes You Beautiful’.

One Direction’s live DVD ‘Up All Night: The Live Tour’ has hit No.1 in an amazing 25 countries this week.

In the USA the DVD is No.1 on the Billboard DVD chart, with the band AGAIN making chart history as this is the first time a No.1 DVD has outsold the No.1 album in the US. The DVD outsold every music artist format this week, selling 76,000 copies, and making it the highest debut of 2012 and the 2nd highest debut of the past five years.

In Canada the DVD is No.1 selling twice the No.1 album this week. It is already the 2nd best- selling DVD of 2012 there.

The DVD is No.1 in the UK Official Charts with the biggest opening selling week one of 2012.

It is also No.1 in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
