ABS-CBN again provides another newest family themed drama series entitled “Flordeliza” that encourages and reminds every viewer to put family on top of the list. Also the drama series aims to give realization, especially to the Filipino family, that family plays the crucial role in molding the hearts and minds of children.
If you’ve seen the movie Floredeliza in the 80s, this movie is entirely different of that perspective. According to Master Storyteller Wenn V. Deramas, who conceptualize the story and will co-direct the series with Tots Snachez-Mariscal IV, Flordeliza is a tale about two families. It focuses on two loving mothers and their daughters, who will be drawn closer by love but torn apart by one sad truth. It will make viewers realize that the love of our family is what really makes us while.”
Flordeliza is based on the names of the lead characters, Florida (played by Jolina) and her daughter Flor (played by Ashley Sarmiento), and Elizabeth (played by Desiree del Valle) and her child Liza (played by Rhed Bustamante). Marvin Agustin played the role of Crisanto, the very loving father. Also part of the “Flordeliza” cast are Carlo Aquino, Elizabeth Oropesa, Tetchie Agbayani, and Juan Rodrigo.
