My Porchetta Experience at Karnitas Korner

Who would have thought that there’s a place in Kapitolyo, Pasig where you can have your delightful Mexican inspired dishes. This is the place where you can have your cheat day err may be not. It’s not cheating when you enjoy what you are eating and at Karnitas Korner I did have a great Mexican inspired food experience.

Karnitas Korner is a small place inside the subdivision. It is not hard to find because it is just a few walks away from the subdivision’s gate or you just simply ask the people around and they will immediately point you the direction.

The restaurant compared to other establishment that I have been is a little bit small and can only accommodate a few number of seats but the entire place brings an ambiance great for chill and relaxation. An addition to that is its Mexican inspired wall murals. If you simply want to have a great and quiet dining experience, Karnitas Korner is the place to go.

When it comes to their dishes... well, you'll just notice yourself drooling already. This Mexican inspired restaurant, Karnitas Korner, is known for their Porchetta. It is pronounced as por'ketta and it is a savory, fatty, and moist boneless roast pork. It actually roots from Italian culinary tradition where the pork loin is arranged carefully with layers of stuffing of meat, fat, crispy skin and seasoned with garlic, rosemary, fennel, or other herbs, then rolled and roasted traditionally over wood.

The first that Kwento Ni Toto had was the Poutine which is composed of fries topped with cheese and bits of meat.

Followed by their Porchetta Nachos which is delightfully heaven if your a fan of nachos together with bits and pieces of porchetta.

Another Mexican dish, the tacos, but this time its called the Porchetta Tacos. I really loved when it is mixed with its spicy sauce.

Now for the health buff or health conscious the Maple Sundried Citrus Chix is the one to try for. Just have the bread piece by piece enjoy it very much.

If you're craving for beefy stuff then Braised Pulled Beef is another meat and bread to have.

Since porchetta is their specialty dish then Porchetta Sandwich is a dish to enjoy almost all day.

I thought Karnitas Korner already offered all of their dishes but I was wrong because they also have their rice meal which is the Porchetta Rice. What's make this more interesting is the way it is prepared before consuming.

Of course there's always the juices to quench the thirst and great that it is all healthy.

The experience at Karnitas Korner is a tummy-filler. I don't know if you can bet the temptation of their dishes but all I can say is that "It's not cheating when you enjoy what you're eating."
