Kwento Ni Toto just recently attended one of the glamorous awards when it comes to recognizing of farmers. It is an achievement that farmers can boast of with their fellow farmers and farming enthusiasts. A hard work does naturally deserves a recognition and thanks to TOFARM for making this award. As to what transpired the last awarding ceremony, the highlight was Jose E. Amador of Sorsogon City who was hailed as TOFARM 2014 Farmer of the Year. He is a former Magsasakang Siyentista who pioneered pili farming here and boosted livelihood and tourism in his province for his innovative, organic, sustainable and integrated farming.

The best farmers from various parts of the country will be feted in TOFARM AWARDS 2015 – the third consecutive Outstanding Farmers of the Philippines (TOFARM) recognition awards staged by Universal Harvester Inc.

The yearly awards honors the country’s top agricultural groups and individuals who have imparted valuable contributions to their families, communities, provinces, and the country as a whole through best agricultural practices, innovations, initiatives and systems. The recognition awards will be held at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Manila.
