Nominate A Frontliner that You Know with Share Hope with SM

12:42:00 AM

One of the many things I've learned during this pandemic is being thankful, not only because I am still alive but because there are people who are out there willing to sacrifice their safety just to help and serve individuals who are in need. Sometimes I feel that being grateful isn't enough to praise what they have done or what they are currently doing.

Unfortunately, I'm not privileged enough to give them great gifts to reward them for their acts. So, I am constraint to whatever things that I can offer to them. Still, I'm thinking more about how to help or find other means to give something to them.

Recently, I was browsing through my news feeds, and I found out about this nominating thing on SM's page, and I got intrigued. It is probably one of God's way of leading you to a path where you can still help others as well, most especially the frontliners. So, SM got this simple way of appreciating the hardworking frontliners, the Share Hope with SM, which will direct you by simply nominating these hardworking modern-day heroes. So whether they are healthcare workers, workers from the public health and safety, or workers from the essential products and services.

You can check more of the details on this link Share Hope with SM. The duration of the nomination will run from October 19 up to December 14.

VIVO Donates Surgical Masks together with Appreciation Letters To Hospitals and Frontliners

5:37:00 PM

A small gesture of encouragement and strength as vivo Philippiens helped in boosting the morale of frontliners and further ensure their protection, vivo Philippines has given out appreciation letters and thousands of surgical masks to select hospitals through the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and other local government offices.

The handwritten letters of gratitude and encouragement, and masks were turned over to the OVP for distribution to the Philippine General hospital, and the Bonifacio Global City administration office for distribution to St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City. vivo directly handed similar donations to The Medical City Ortigas.

“With their valiant efforts, our medical frontliners are truly the heroes in this battle we are waging, but we also understand they are also human and can be physically and emotionally exhausted,” said Charisma Buan, vivo Philippines PR Lead.

While most of the letters were addressed to frontliners, some were also directed to COVID-19 patients to give them hope.

“Along with providing much-needed support, we also want to instill hope during this pandemic, especially to the victims and their families. With our modest contribution, we hope to help our medical frontliners in flattening the curve soon.”
