SM Cinema unveiled its new and improved facility at SM City Cebu on June 21, offering upgraded and comfortable seats, a wider screen with a clearer view, an advanced and precise sound system, delectable snacks, and a rejuvenated ambiance. Cebuano moviegoers were treated to an array of enjoyable activities and had the opportunity to win exciting prizes. The re-opening event was made even more captivating with the presence of cosplayers and renowned celebrities.

During the official opening of a new Cinematic experience, Actress Julia Barretto joins the grand launching of SM Cinema Cebu. Joining her in the photo are SM Cinema's Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Ruby Ann Reyes, Vice President for Mall Operations in Visayas, Michelle Leslie Llaños, and Regional Operations Manager, Ana Kristin Therese M. Seno.
