Fresh off the release of her last single 'Bad Medicine', 'Cigarette' is FLØRE’s poignant follow-up to ‘Bad Medicine’—an electro-pop bop with enormous potential for massive appeal. Layered with FLØRE's signature haunting falsettos and an addictive chorus that is bound to loop in your head or get you humming, 'Cigarette' is the next chapter from FLØRE's sophomore EP 'Romaniac'.

A soft contemporary ballad brimming with soothing keys and ethereal harmonies, 'Cigarette' promises to transport listeners to another world and hits the nail recounting feelings of toxic love and the lasting side effects of its hold on its victims. 'Cigarette' is a leap towards showcasing FLØRE's pop sensibilities that place the German singer-songwriter in the wagon towards becoming a bonafide superstar with the capability to package vulnerability and pain in a palatable, memorable tune.

Speaking about the upcoming single “Cigarette”, FLØRE explains, “The song focuses on the self-destructive side of love. I often do things just to write about it and being hurt just keeps the fire going. So I like to lighten up sometimes and ‘Cigarette’ is the ‘Bad Medicine’ for something that does not need to be fixed. Being wasted is just something I'm attracted to artistically. So always coming back to the same pattern, felt like an addiction, I hurt myself on purpose. The outro in the song on the other hand, shows the vulnerable side of it and feels like the rehab in the story.”

Another day for Filipino artists to celebrate as one of the Kapamilya actors, Joseph Marco, takes on the journey of performing in the international entertainment scene. He is the latest Filipino talent to make waves abroad as he soon stars in an international series, which will air on HBO Asia.

The Kapamilya star shared his career milestone on his Instagram account and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work abroad.

“It’s my first day of shooting here in Kuala Lumpur. Feels very surreal doing my first ever acting stint abroad! It’s such an overwhelming experience to be able to work with international production and I really am grateful for it!”


ABS-CBN international production and co-production revealed that Joseph is indeed part of the cast of the second season of the hit series “The Bridge,” which is produced by Double Vision.

“The Bridge” follows the quest of international police agencies in finding the truth behind the murder of a person, whose body was cut in half and left at the border of two neighboring countries. “The Bridge” will air in 2020 in 24 territories.

Before bagging the role for the anticipated international series, Joseph was recently seen as one of the lead stars of the hit afternoon series “Los Bastardos,” which aired for a year.

March 17, it was the last day of the jam-packed 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition event in SM Mall of Asia.  It's the last presentation of fireworks from Italy and from the Philippines.  Also, this is the announcement of the winners of the pyromusical competition.

Gladly I was able to cover this event and had time to be there, though it was really rough going at SM Mall of Asia because of the heavy traffic caused by vast number of viewers and expectators.   Well, perhaps because it is the last day of the pyromusical and it's almost vacation time already and most students are now free to enjoy the vacation.  Good that I got there just in time.

The last competitor for the competition was Italy with its Orzella Fireworks S.R.I., it is founded in 1884 and they are proud of its family tradition on the art of fireworks which has been handed down from generation to generation.  They are also the co-organizer of the Caput Lucis Fireworks Competition.











Of course the whole competition would not be complete without the presentation of the Philippines though it was only an exhibition from Platinum Fireworks, Inc.  They are the organizer and co-producer of this international event.   Platinum Fireworks, Inc. has brought pride to the Philippines by placing 2nd Runner Up at the 2009 and 2010 Macau International Fireworks Display Contest and winning the 2011 Globalfest Pyromusical Competition held in Calgary, Canada.

They will be once again representing the Philippines in this year's Globalfest 2012.  The Grand Finale also include a Special Pyromusical Segment from Close Up, the confidence to get closer!

Though there came up with a technical problem the presentation was able to move on and finish the night with a Big Bang!
