SM City Sta Mesa or commonly called SM Centerpoint has indeed made another point to their patron consumers with their latest sale this Aug 3, 4 & 5 and today was their last day of sale.  Though, last day it still looks like the first day because of the huge crowd coming in and out of the mall.




It was afternoon and I know most people went to the mall during this time to spend some bonding moments or just simply to pass time.  So I was there together with my wife and my eldest son, Maki.  My theme for this specific sale is UNDERGARMENTS, like underwear and socks.  Yes, I hunted for this specific clothing because I badly need to have new pairs of these items.  Some of my undergarment belongings were near turning into bacon garters and for the pair of socks some were already worn out.  So I really need to have new ones.


Not really sure if I'm going to find a good bargain or sale this time because as far as I know most men's clothing are much more expensive than ladies.  So, hunting for some good buys may take some time.  To my surprise I just finish my hunt in just a few minutes.  What I got was a bench underwear which cost around Php369 with 10% discount.  It's in pack of three which comes with a pouch which I can use later as storage of other items, not much of a discount but still I was able to get other than the underwear.  I also grab a Burlington socks that also comes in pack of three which cost Php150 which is a good buy also.  Then, since my son is with us and I wanted to teach him the value of money I bought his a coin bank with a shape of a dragon.  Playful enough to save money.

These experience is not brag about what we got on sale but to share how discounts and sales can help us all stretch that hard earned money.   So the next time you're in a sale make sure to get what you planned for. Stick to it!

This is an excerpt of one of the famous song describing Manila. It is indeed there's no place like Manila. It is the center of trade and industry. The soul of the country. SM City Manila, being situated in the middle of the universities, government offices, establishments and parks, holds the venue for all people in different walks of life. Making them the center for great finds, good foods and in demand products.

As the first day of the Manila Day Sale commence, I was given a chance to witness the flow of people coming in and out of SM City Manila. From students to senior citizens and from workers to bystanders, they are all roaming around and trying to get the cheapest bargain that they can find. The crowd was almost thick already and yet it is only the first day of the sale plus it is still Friday. I may have witnessed only the tip of the crowd and I'm sure the later part of the day will make every body blast inside the mall. It's pay day!

I'm just lucky today that I don't have work, so I'm not in a hurry to roam around and flicker those tag prices. I did find clothing lines and toys that sales from 20% to 50% off which I consider great buys already. There are also other establishments that offers a 70% off on their selected items. Whew! This great buys hunting makes me hungry as well. Great that food establishments are also joining the fun sale.



With today's current situation we really need to be picky, practical and thriefty. We need to have more of what we earned and that's the reason why SM City Manila offers this 3 Day Sale to let the working class enjoy more of the hard-earned money.

The Manila Day Sale of SM City Manila will run from June 15 (which is today) until June 17. So, you still have 2 more days to create your list and to hunt them down.
