In a bid to redefine financial access for Filipinos, Luis “Chavit” Singson officially launched the VBank app mid December at the Bridgetowne Destination Estate in Quezon City and was assisted by Veteran Comedienne, Ai-ai Delas Alas. This digital banking platform promises to simplify banking for Filipinos, particularly those in underserved communities.
VBank allows users to open a bank account entirely through the app, eliminating the need for traditional paperwork or trips to a physical branch. The app’s features include sending money to all banks and e-wallets, bill payments, and mobile load purchases.

During his provincial sorties, Manong Chavit gave the audience a public demonstration of how the VBank app works.
“This isn’t just about banking,” said VBank founder Luis “Chavit” Singson during a demonstration. “It’s about empowering every Filipino to participate in the economy, no matter where they are.”
The launch started at 3:30 P.M. at the VBank lounge at the Bridgetowne Destination Estate along Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Avenue during the Blackout Festival. A press conference will follow at the exclusive VBank lounge to discuss the app’s features in greater detail.
Adding excitement to the launch is the “58 Days Pa-Raffle ni Manong Chavit,” a campaign designed to engage users. Starting on launch day, 58 winners will receive ₱5,800 daily, culminating in a grand prize of ₱580,000 on the 58th day. To join, users need to download the app, create an account, and follow Singson’s official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/lcsluischavitsingson.
Financial Inclusion for the Unbanked
VBank addresses a critical need in the country, where financial inclusion remains a challenge. Data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reveals that 77% of Filipinos are unbanked, often relying on informal and less secure financial systems.
The app seeks to bridge this gap by offering a secure, user-friendly platform tailored for individuals and small businesses. Users can manage funds, access loans, and connect to financial opportunities, fostering economic growth in regions with limited banking access.
“This is the future of financial empowerment in the Philippines,” Singson added. “We’re not just launching a product; we’re creating growth opportunities, especially in areas like Pangasinan, where access to financial services is limited.”

Beyond its technical features, VBank reflects Singson’s vision of promoting financial literacy and economic participation. With Ai-Ai delas Alas as the app’s celebrity endorser, the campaign emphasizes accessibility, practicality, and trustworthiness.
As the app makes its debut, Singson—listed as No. 58 on the Senate ballot—also highlights his commitment to public service under the slogan “May Isang Salita.”
