A Lift For Your Precious Toys for the Big Boys

11:39:00 PM

Toys for the big boys, unfortunately, these two kinds of toys that I like are not easy to have, but I'm still praying that someday I will have them. For now, all I can do is admire and be a fan of these two toys, the cars, and the big bikes or motorcycles.

Right now, my only source of viewing exotically beautiful cars and bikes is through YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Before, I used to enjoy roaming around and watching these car shows. Seeing their builts, how their cylinders are customly created, and the body parts that are well designed and customized.

Some of them are displayed openly, and some are on lift displays. And speaking of these lifts, there are different kinds of lifts for cars, but I didn't know that there are also lifts for bikes or motorcycle lifts. What more surprises me is that there are varieties of these products offered by different companies online and offline.

Specifically, these motorcycle lifts are placed only in motor shops. They are used to repair motorbikes with problems beneath or hard-to-reach areas. In other words, the benefits of having one of these lifts are the ease of work time and convenience in the workplace.

If I'm one of the billionaires who own a number of motorbikes and cars, I will definitely get myself one of these lifts. When it comes to my own things I like to work it with my own hands. I like myself to get dirty.

Or even if I own a small motor shop, I will push myself to have one. And besides these toys for the big boys should be taken care of properly and everyone need to have their own set of tools for these toys.

Polaris Sportsman Aftermarket Parts and Accessories Buying Guide

1:34:00 PM

You're hyped for a weekend of off-roading, strapping on your dirt bike riding gear and jumping on your Polaris Sportsman. It's fun, but you feel like it's just a little short of perfection. Installing a few aftermarket mods can take your machine's performance to the next level. These are a few Polaris Sportsman aftermarket parts and accessories that can upgrade your quad.

Tires

When you ask ATV owners about their favorite mods you always get a chorus of "new tires." This is one spot that even quality manufacturers consistently skimp on their OE parts. They figure that tires need multiple replacements over the life of a machine anyway, so why should they foot the bill? Get more out of your engine by installing high-performance rubber on your Sportsman. Better traction means better speed and acceleration. AMS, Duro, Maxxis, and Interco are just a few of the manufacturers making outstanding tires for your quad.

Skid Plates

Even if you're a careful rider, you're going to run over a hazard eventually. It's not easy to see roots and rocks, especially when your goggles are dirty. Skid plates help you stay prepared for anything. They armor your quad against damage to axles, brake lines, and other vital parts. Made from durable but lightweight materials such as aircraft aluminum, they don't weigh down your ATV. Warn is one company that makes exceptional skid plates.

Headlights

Your machine's stock headlights aren't great and proper illumination can save your life. Aftermarket models are more powerful and focus their light better for improved range. Even if you don't intend to do much riding at night, there's less light when you're out in nature. Headlights not only help you see around you they help other riders see you. Candlepower is a manufacturer known for high-powered lights at reasonable prices.

Windshield

No matter how tough you are, riding fatigue catches up with you after a while. A windshield helps keep you fresh by reducing the wind whipping into you. It's also excellent for keeping roost out of your face and providing an extra layer of protection against flying debris. Typically made from sturdy polycarbonate or acrylic, they're difficult to damage but easy to see through. National Cycle, Quadboss, and Powermadd are among ATV riders' favorite windshield brands.

Thumb Throttle

A high-quality aftermarket thumb throttle gives you more responsive acceleration and a more comfortable ride. With a flick of your thumb, you can easily control your ATV. Cheap thumb throttles are less robust and provide a smaller surface on which you can make contact. If you're wearing gloves, make sure to buy a long, broad throttle. Moose Racing is one of the most trusted names in aftermarket parts, including their thumb throttles.

Customize your quad by choosing the best aftermarket parts from the top manufacturers. It's easy to improve the looks, performance, and comfort of your Sportsman with a few adjustments. Online shopping is a smart way to pick up superior equipment for less money. Shop for everything from your favorite mods to motorcycle helmets and get them delivered right to your door.

Ducati's Monster 795

8:31:00 AM

I think mos to of us guys have always wanted to have those cool big bikes.  The sleek style, the jagged designs, and the roaring sound of their mufflers.  That's an ideal big bike!

I remember during my teenage days I get to know those motorbike brands and models through the game called Super Tramp which showcase the different types of airplanes, cars, battle tanks, missiles and motorbikes.  That's where I first read about the term "cc".  Not really sure about it but all I know is that the higher the number the greater the speed.  I don't if that game is still played today.

There are different brands of big bikes but there is one brand that is considered luxurious and well known, that is the Ducati.

Ducati is founded in 1962, Ducati has been producing sport-inspired motorcycles since 1946.  Their motorcycles are characterized by "Desmodromic" performance engines, innovative design and avant-garde technology.  Covering several market segments, Ducati's range of motorcycles are divided into model families which include: Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Streetfighter and Superbike.  These authentic icons of "made in Italy" are sold over 80 countries around the world, with concentration on the European, North-American and Asia Pacific markets.

Knowing Ducati as silent moving giant, they are introducing one of their model that would target the yuppies market.  They wanted more younger generation to own a Ducati.  Introducing the Monster 795!  This is an 800 cc bike, good speed that is rightfully good to run in an expressway.  The Monster 795 is an addition to the line-up that combines the user friendliness of the 696 with the sport character of the 796.  Delivering 87hp (64 kW), with a dry weight of just 167 kg (368 lb), the stylish new Monster 795 adds the magic of mid-range to the Monster family for our enthusiasts in Asia.

With the Desomodue 796 engine at the heart the machine, a double sided swingarm and revised ergonomics, the Monster 795 perfectly balances lifestyle performance with everyday functionality to enhance the original Monster spirit.

Dressed in Ducati red, with a bright red Trellis frame, the Monster 795 can be further personalized with an additional 10 colour scheme from the innovative Monster Art program, which features the latest collection "Logomania".

So what are the features of the Monster 795?  Here it is...

Ducati has continued to listen to its passionate Monster owners, using their valuable feedbacks for the designs of the new Monster 795.  The riding position has been revised by reducing the 796's height from a full 800mm (31.5inc) to 770mm (30.3in).  The combination of redesigning the seat shape and raising the handlebars by 20mm (0.8in) has improved posture and increased comfort.  With a dry weight of just 167kg (368lb), thanks to the lightweight engine, the new naked inspires confidence, making life simpler in the crowded cities all over Asia.

In pure Monster style, the entire chassis set-up is unified into a sturdy, great handling package by a bright red Trellis frame.  Lightweight, with incredible torsional stiffness, the large diamater tube construction flows into the cast aluminium rear sub-frame matches the matte black rear swingarm.

Twin 320mm semi-floating discs are gripped by radially mounted 4-piston Brembo callipers to provide powerful and progressive front-end braking with rider-friendly "feeling", while the rear is equipped with a 245mm disc and 2-piston calliper, also by Brembo.

The 17" wheels are in the 3 spoke style and produced in lightweight aluminium to keep the unsprung weight  low and handling, braking and acceleration performances high.  They roll on the 120/60 and 160/60 Pirelli Angel ST tyres.

To know more about the specification of the Monster 795 just visit it here Ducati Monster 795 specs.
Whew! Quite good features.  For sure even the not-so-bike-enthusiast would understand it clearly.
