The ASEAN-India Music Festival is making a much-anticipated return this year, spotlighting the vibrant musical traditions of its participating nations.

This year’s event, set for November 29 to December 1, 2024, will take place at the historic Purana Qila in New Delhi, India. The festival aims to foster greater appreciation for India’s cultural ties with ASEAN countries, bringing audiences closer to their shared heritage.

Described as an “incredible showcase of unity through music and culture,” the 2024 edition marks a decade of the Act East Policy. It reflects key decisions from the 21st ASEAN-India Summit, emphasizing India’s deepening partnership with ASEAN, particularly in cultural collaboration.

ASEAN-India Music Festival will feature performances by bands from ASEAN countries and top Indian music sensations such as Shaan, Jasleen Royal, Sukriti Prakriti, and Raghu Dixit.

The event is organized by the Ministry of External Affairs and Seher, India's premier cultural organization known for producing large-scale events in India and abroad, particularly in the fields of music, dance, visual arts, theater, and cinema.

Sanjeev Bhargava, Founder Director of Seher, shares that this year’s ASEAN-India Music Festival promises to live up to the expectations of the global audience while upholding its top-notch programming with a carefully selected lineup of performers.

He explains, “The third edition of the ASEAN India Music Festival is a celebration of a decade of India's 'Act East Policy.' The new addition to this 3rd edition of ASEAN-India Music Festival is a one-day music extravaganza in Bangkok, Thailand, one of the ASEAN-member states."

Following the main event in New Delhi, the festival will continue its journey to Bangkok, Thailand, further enhancing the cultural connections between India and ASEAN. Details about the bands performing from Southeast Asia will be announced soon.

Along with senior officials from the Ministry of External Affairs and the Heads of Missions from all 10 ASEAN Member States, Mr. S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, Govt. of India, will also grace the event as the chief guest.

After its well-received inaugural edition in 2017 and successful follow-up in 2022, AIMF has continued its mission of promoting a sustained cultural exchange and interaction between ASEAN and India while championing its unique adoption of traditional and modern music influences. I just want everyone to know that I am still growing as an actor. Alam mo na patuloy pa rin tayong binibigyan ng magagandang opportunities. I am still challenged and motivated," he said.

Since he became a Kapamilya, ABS-CBN has challenged him to take on different roles, which molded his craft as an actor.


 
"Ever since naging Kapamilya ako palagi akong tinetest ng network na gumawa ng roles outside of my box. Masasabi ko talaga na during my stay dito sa ABS-CBN, wala akong ginawang hindi challenging," he added.

He also revealed that viewers should watch out for his next series since he will be portraying a challenging role.

Filipino band Ben&Ben is set to transform the live concert experience with an exciting blend of animation, film, and music in a one-of-a-kind show. Their much-awaited performance is slated for December 14, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, produced by Ovation Productions. This groundbreaking event aims to raise the bar for the local music scene, promising fans an unforgettable audio-visual spectacle.

Inspired by their upcoming third studio album, The Traveller Across Dimensions, the concert will merge live music with cutting-edge multimedia storytelling. PetPal launches home vaccination service for fur babies

PetPal, the Philippines' first pet care super app, now offers home vaccinations through its platform. Launched for National Pet Wellness Month in October, this new service highlights the importance of regular veterinary check-ups and preventive care to help pets stay healthy year-round.

In the Philippines, many pet owners go to veterinarians only during emergencies. A Royal Canin survey revealed that an estimated 80% of Filipino pet parents delay appointments until their pets are already ill or require urgent care. PetPal aims to change this reactive approach.


 
“Our services in PetPal were developed with our customers in mind–allowing them to have more control and flexibility in caring for their pets. Our home vaccinations are no different,” said Martin Luchangco, General Manager of PetPal.

Luchangco highlighted that every home vaccination service ensures pets' records are instantly updated in the PetPal app, simplifying the process for pet parents to monitor and stay on schedule for their pets' next vaccinations.

He added, “We want to build that habit of proactive care with our customers, with the PetPal App serving as their digital petcare companion and connecting them to the resources and services they need through our platform.”

Currently, PetPal’s home vaccinations are available within Metro Manila, including cities like Taguig, Makati, Pateros, Pasig, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Marikina, Quezon City, Navotas, Caloocan, Valenzuela, Manila, Pasay, Paranaque, Las Pinas. Service areas also extend to parts of Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, and Bulacan.

Available vaccines include Anti-Rabies and Kennel Cough, as well as combination vaccines like the 5-in-1, 6-in-1, and 8-in-1 for dogs, and the 4-in-1 for cats, with more to come.

Vaccinations start at just P300, excluding professional fees and add-ons.







 


Pet owners simply need to log into their PetPal app, select their preferred vaccination schedule choose a veterinarian, and; confirm the appointment.

To ensure availability, it is recommended to book at least one week in advance.

This collaboration aligns with the airport's vision of becoming a world-class air gateway by providing passengers and stakeholders with reliable high-speed internet connectivity powered by DITO's 5G infrastructure.
