Catch the New Sheryn Regis in Back To Love Concert

2:01:00 PM

Sheryn Regis, the Crystal Voice of Asia, is back to bring a hair-raising song with that distinctive tone and melismatic timbre, a velvety yet tart with an insistent flutter and occasional reserves of soul belting that resonates with such catharsis.

She was strong, emotive, confident, and capable of punctuating any beat with her goose-bump-inducing whispers or full bore diva-roars.

Having heard, Sheryn Regis is one gifted singer, a soprano often acclaimed for her range and technical ability. In 2003 she secured a place as a grand finalist in ABS-CBN's reality singing competition "Star in a Million." After advancing from the elimination rounds. She was dubbed as the "Power Belter," she was the judge's favorite and placed consistently in the top performances every week, eventually reaching the Grand Champion Night on January 3, 2004. She won the Texter's Choice Award but placed only as a Runner-up after singing Wendy Moten's "Come in Out of the Rain," which eventually became her signature song. While she may not have clinched the grand title in the said competition, Sheryn felt like she already has, as she was immediately overwhelmed with numerous TV offers, product commercial endorsements, and concerts in the Philippines and different parts of the world.

To date, she has recorded four solo albums with platinum and gold awards, as well as numerous collaborations with different Filipino artists. She was known as "The Queen of ABS-CBN's 'Teleserye' Theme Songs" and was a member of the "Kapamilya Network's" homegrown talent, Star Magic.

in 2004, Sheryn was chosen by popular songwriter Vehnee A. Saturno to represent the Philippine sin "Voice f Asia" in Kazakhstan where she sang "Isang Lahi," "Sana's 'Di Pangarap," "Now More Than Ever" and Saturno's original song "Follow Your Dreams." for a time, she was part of the now-defunct noontime show "MTB: Ang Saya Saya" and "M.R.S. (Most Requested Show)."

Sheryn had her first concert, "Higher Note," at the Music Museum, followed by several concerts in the Philippines and abroad. However, in 2010, as part of her career move, she and her husband migrated to the United States with their daughter and settled in Houston, Texas, where she continues her colorful signing career, as a concert regular and a theater actress. 10 years later, she is back to Music Museum for her homecoming concert on February 28, 2020, entitled "Back To Love" - Sheryn Regis Live at the Music Museum.

Her recent stints in the last quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020 included being the featured celebrity in ASAP Natin To, I Can See Your Voice, Casino Filipino's La Musikandia Nationwide series of shows, Wish 107.5, Umagang Kay Ganda, ABS-CBN Trade Show, Letters and Music, and Other Radio and TV Guestings. She continues to do solo concert tours around the USA and Canada.

Certainly, this adorable powerhouse of a diva has earned her legions of adoring fans worldwide with her four-octave vocal range, the florid blend of breathy riffing and resonant belting, which easily puts her on top of the country's most gifted artists who have significantly impacted popular and contemporary music.

Catch the new version of Sheryn Regis unfolds on February 28, 2020, at the Music Museum directed by Alco Guerrero.

I'm a frustrated designer and architect. I'm always fascinated with house designs and builds, even the old architectural structures of churches, museums, and other iconic structures. These give me a sense of amazement and respect for whoever creates it.

After the fun-filled and painstaking process of creating the designs up to entry submission and judges' deliberation, they finally have the results and the names to recognize as winners at the ceremony held at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City.

Adobo Connection Welcomes New Brand Ambassador Melai Cantiveros

11:42:00 PM
How do you like your Adobo? Well, there are different types of Adobo that you can enjoy. For Pinoys, like us, Adobo is one of the dishes that we all love. Having your flavorful Adobo will always give a good connection, not only with the food but with your love ones. Just like how Momshie Melai connects to her family, friends, and fans, and that is why Adobo Connection chose her to be the newest brand ambassador with a feel-at-home vibe. Remember that she's the first-ever brand ambassador and a franchisee at the same time. Thus, the opening of her new franchise in SM North EDSA Annex.

Adobo Connection is one of the growing food establishments in the country, imbibing the feel at home atmosphere to every customer dining at any Adobo Connection branches.

Melai, with her unassuming and cheerful character, people see her as a quintessential Filipino mom who finds flavorful, manageable, and hearty Pinoy dishes for her family's craving. "Adobo is forever - char! Kasi diba staple food siya, walang Pinoy ang hindi gusto ang adobo. Unlike kasi ng iba na naging usong pagkain, saglit lang naging hype tapos after ilang months lang, wala na. Ang adobo kasi, 'di pinagsasawaan. Kaya kumuha talaga ako ng franchise. Honestly, ito ang pangtawid gutom ko," said Melai.

Meredith Ngo, Adobo Connection's Managing Director, says, "We're really proud to announce the first-ever brand ambassador/franchisee of Adobo Connection, Melai, who embodies what a true Filipino mom is - yung maalaga sa pamilya and may malasakit. Similar to our brand statement, we want our customers to feel at home and remember their mom's cooking every time they enter our store."

With the deep connection of the brand to Filipinos, Melai had taken things one step further by investing in an Adobo Connection as a franchisee. It's her way of ensuring her family's financial stability, but aside from that, she also loves seeing people enjoy Adobo Connection's different offerings. Every Adobo Connection experience brings back memories of home and celebrates everything fun about being Pinoy, as they serve other Filipino favorites, like Bangus Belly Sinigang, Beef Kare Kare, and Grilled Liempo. This year, Adobo Connection is adding new dishes to its menu that everyone will surely crave for - Adobong Litson Manok, Lechon Kawali, and Adobosilog.

Admitting she did not know much about running a business, Melai also found adobo Connection's support and commitment to its franchisees truly reassuring.

"Sa panahon ngayon, ang hirap na makahanap ng business na papatok at higit sa lahat ang hirap makahanap ng katuwang sa negosyo - yung talagang mapagkakatiwalaan at tutulungan ka talaga. Pinadali talaga ng Adobo Connection ang pagbubusiness ko. Dahil sa mga maaasahang teams nila, masaya at madali ang naging experience ko," Melai shared.

Today, Melai owns three Adobo Connection outlets nationwide. She has found that adobo Connection offers a solid business proposition - a working market concept, sound marketing, and operational systems, and strong franchisor support.
