Parentology+ recreates a typical home and its rooms. The space will consist of three stations touching on three important topics: Food, Physical Activity and Socialization-- fill your day with ways you can stay lean at the Foodie station and make sure to get that drool-worthy photo, jump into a ball pit at the Play station and play on a giant piano at the Social station, and so much more! “ALONG WITH THE GODS,” KOREA’S MOST EXPENSIVE PRODUCTION WILL OPEN ON FEBRUARY 7 IN PHILIPPINE THEATERS

Discover a world that is neither heaven nor hell, and where there is life after death, in the much-anticipated Korean fantasy movie of 2018, ALONG WITH THE GODS: THE TWO WORLDS.

ALONG WITH THE GODS is Korea’s most expensive production and it will be released in 2 parts. Based on the hit webcomic with the same title, it follows the story of a firefighter named Ja-Hong who died in the line of duty while trying to save a little girl. In Purgatory, he meets his 3 Afterlife guardians – Kang-Lim, Hewonmak and Deok-choon who will defend and help him go through 7 different Trials of Sin in order to be reincarnated. At the same time, the Afterlife guardians were also promised reincarnation by the ruler of the Afterlife, King Yeomra if they successfully defend 49 souls for reincarnation. Ja-Hong is their 48th client. Ja-Hong's journey to the 7 Trials of Sin is disrupted by his dead brother Su-Hong's Vengeful Spirit. Su-Hong died 2 weeks before his military discharge when a private accidentally shot him with a service weapon. Because of his unjust death, Su-Hong turns into a Vengeful Spirit and starts attacking the Afterlife. And as hidden facts surrounding his death are uncovered, Ja-Hong's innocence is questioned, risking his trial for reincarnation.


ALONG WITH THE GODS is directed by blockbuster and award-winning director Kim Yong-Hwa (200 Pounds Beauty, Take Off, Mr. Go), and is led by a superb all-star cast. Firefighter Ja-Hong is played by Cha Tae-Hyun, who is widely known by Filipino K-movie fans as the funny and charming guy in the 2001 movie My Sassy Girl. Fans will get to see a different side of Cha Tae-Hyun with his performance in Along with the Gods. Kang-Lim, the leader of Ja-Hong's Afterlife guardians is played by versatile actor Ha Jung-Woo. He will lead Ja-Hong's defense as he goes through the 7 Trials of Sin. Hewonmak, the Security Specialist among the guardians is played by Ju Ji-Hoon. He is the first one to risk his own life to protect his client and fellow guardians. Showing his dedication to his role, Ju Ji-Hoon trained for 2 months to prepare for his action scenes. The youngest of the guardians, Deok-Choon is played by young actress Kim Hyang-Gi. She has a full and warm heart and is sympathetic towards her client, making her an ideal and a promising lawyer to defend souls for reincarnation.


Aside from the superb cast, ALONG WITH THE GODS will also take audiences to worlds you never thought existed. According to the laws of Afterlife, all deceased must go through 7 trials over 49 days, and these trials are divided into 7 sin categories: betrayal, violence, filial piety, murder, indolence, deceit and injustice. Each sin has its own hell, and Director Kim used different elements to represent each hell: fire, water, metal, ice, mirror, gravity and sand. Creating these hells took almost 6 years of production, but the results are all worth it.

3 Things To Know About Karencitta's Cebuana

Another Pinay blooded artist raves the internet waves as she makes everyone dance and sing along with her music. Karencitta or Karen Ann Cabrera is a Pinay Cebuana based in Los Angeles who went viral with her music entitled "Cebuana". It is really prevalent that singing is innate with most of us Filipinos and it just couldn't stop Filipinos to go head to head with everyone when it comes to singing.

Karencitta's song "Cebuana" is first thought to be an international or foreign music because of the upbeat sound and different rhythm that is not particularly noticed in the local beat. Now what's more surprising with the music is that it is a mix of English and the local language Visaya or particularly Cebuana.  For our foreign readers Cebuana can be interpreted in two ways the one is for the native women of Cebu while the other one is the language spoken by the locals of Cebu. Cebu is one province in the Visayan region of the Philippines.

There are three (3) things to know about the "Cebuana" song why it became hit and viral.
  1. The created song, which is the Cebuana, has an international sound and beat quality that surpassed territorial music patterns. In simpler term it got an international appeal that the present generation would love to hear.
  2. The song is not only bilingual but almost multilingual because the writer of the song used different languages fused into one music. This made it even more foreign but still good to the ear music.
  3. The singer, Karencitta, show so much passion in singing the song and dancing with the beat of the music, just like any other known Filipino singers who sung out with their soul.

Star Cinema Releases Changing Partners On Mainstream

Directed by Dan Villegas and written by Lilit Reyes and Vince de Jesus, Changing Partners was an official multi-awarded entry to the 2017 Cinema One Originals Film Festival.

Based on a PETA musicale play of the same title created by Vincent De Jesus, Changing Partners revolves around Alex and Cris who are celebrating their first anniversary as a live-in couple. Though they are very much in love with each other despite their 15-year age gap, Alex and Cris navigate the different challenges that comes with their relationship. Changing Partners is a love story that is shown through the perspective of different genders, showing how a real relationship works.


With a cutting-edge take on on gender and romantic romantic relationships, Changing Partners showcases an amazing ensemble cast featuring Agot Isidro, Jojit Lorenzo, Anna Luna, and Sandino Martin.

This highly celebrated film was the top box office attraction during the 2017 Cinema One Originals Film Festival and it has received the festival’s Audience Award. It was also rightfully honored with 8 awards which include Best Director for Dan Villegas, Best Actress for Agot Isidro and Best Actor for Jojit Lorenzo for their standout performances, Best Editing for Marya Ignacio, Best Music for Vincent de Jesus, a Special Citation For Ensemble Acting, the Audience Choice Award, and the Champion Bughaw Award For Best Film.


Changing Partners aims to probe on the age-old question on whether the perfect match between couples really exist. The film is essentially a story about falling in love and falling out of love and all the the realities that goes with it.

Rappler wrote that Changing Partners is masterfully crafted; it satisfies without a doubt as it is “accompanied with all the witty lines that laces heartbreak with wayward humour and melodies that enunciate the ache. Spot.ph writer Clinton Palanca said that, “The concept of the movie is brilliant. The different couplings of the play immediately present it as a play about the universality of love and nature of relationships and at doing this succeeds beyond question.”

Those who watched the film during last year’s festival are all raving about director Dan Villegas’ direction on the seamless shifting of scenes and characters throughout the film. The four actors delivered performances that are believable and relatable to the viewers despite the duality of their characters.

An Unexpected RomCom Movie, Mr. and Mrs. Cruz Now Showing

If you have watched the movie Kita Kita then you'll probably say 'Ah that's why', because its the same writer and director who brought this film Mr. and Mrs. Cruz. An unexpected romance comedy movie that you'll definitely relate too. This is not just a one-sided story but I think it goes on both ways. That is on the male and female perspective of course.

The movie are starred by Ryza Cenon and JC Santos. Ryza who by the way is one great and rising actress from being the antagonist role of Georgia in "Ika-6 Na Utos" to a monstrous yet timid role of Jewel in "Ang Manananggal sa Unit  23B. While JC Santos who have been also lined up in so many roles like the uncovering of Ali's personality in "Till I Met You" to a stammering character of Fidel in "100 Tula Para Kay Stella". Both of them has been to a number of roles that seeing them in this latest movie "Mr. & Mrs. Cruz" somehow gave a different take of their acting ability. Not a heavy drama nor an action pack acting but more of subtle but meaning hits of the lines.


The movie "Mr. and Mrs. Cruz" tells a story of two people embarking on a journey of finding themselves, separately, but fate find ways to meet them together in an awkward and unexpected trip. What's more intriguing is that they both have the same surname that makes them more like a couple. The first few parts is, well a dragging conversation between the two with their jokes and ideas eventually their stories.

JC Santos plays the role of Raffy Cruz, a mechanic by profession who doesn't believe in marriage, that's after his bride to be runs away on the day of their wedding.

Ryza Cenon, on the other hand plays the role of Gela Cruz, the Mrs. Gela Cruz who happens to be a mysteriously looking woman who hides her past. She believes in the traditional values of marriage.

Now having both of them in a very beautiful island, good scenic view, enticing beach and in a magical Underground River in Puerto Princesa keeps both of the characters romantic enough to build the chemistry together. Not the usual set up of falling in love story but a more slow pace building of emotions. Now I don't know but perhaps you too can find Nemo or Dory in Palawan.

The hit music Hayaan Mo Sila by Ex Battalion and O.C. Dawgs has made some parties in the community into an uproar commenting that not all are like that and added that men also does the same thing. So it's more of expressing that the music is biased and one sided.

So, in response to that music and as it has gone viral there are others who have made different versions. One of these versions is the Girl Version singing the lines and changing it into a female perspective. Well, if you have read the lyrics you can really say that it is in its general form that you can just change some phrases and you'll have a different perspective.

Celine Dion Announces Live 2018 Tour To Play In Manila

Celine Dion, a world-renowned singer, has announced that she will head overseas this summer with her highly anticipated LIVE 2018 Tour to perform in seven cities across the Asia-Pacific region. As for Sylvia Sanchez, she considers this movie as a blessing as she starts 2018. According to her viewers will see a different mother role, a martyr and a fighter.

Sylvia is very much confident that a lot of people, especially moms and daughters, will be able to relate themselves to the characters. She said that through the film, parents and their millennial kids will understand each other's journey.

For Sofia, she's thankful to the movie as it served as an eye-opener. "My character Abby and I are a bit on the same phase wherein we want to try to be more adventurous to the point that we sometimes overlook our parent's concern. Sa movie, young people like me will realize that there are life lessons that we need to learn the hard way at wala kang ibang dapat gawin k7ndi matutong manindigan at magbago para sa ikabubuti mo."

The movie is under the direction of Connie S.A. Macatuno. Also starring in Mama's Girl are Diwgo Loyzaga and Jameson Blake. Completing the cast are Yana Asistio, Heaven Peralejo, Karen Reyes, Arlene Mulach, Allan Paule, Alora Sasam, among others.

LBC Customers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia are Lucky To Receive the Grand Prizes

One of the best gift to welcome the holidays is winning the grand prize of a promotion or contests. I, for one would be very much delighted if it happened to me, unfortunately it did not happened to me last holiday season. But for the lucky LBC customers it did happened to them as LBC brought joy to them in various parts of the globe and that is when they awarded the grand prizes of the promotions they conducted in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Now isn't it wonderful!

For the LBC-Hong Kong customers who did participate in the Stampadala promo which is transacting sea and air cargo and money remittances was given a chance to win prizes by simply sending their “padala” to loved ones in the Philippines.

Each qualified transaction corresponded to a single stamp, regardless of amount. After completing the required number of stamps, customers could exchange these for scratch cards which won for them instant prizes from LBC. It also served as their raffle coupon for the monthly and grand draws.

For the monthly raffle, winners received free remittance passes and free mini-box and medium box shipments to the Philippines. For the Grand Draw, ten lucky winners were each given an android phone. Another set of ten winners won grocery packages enclosed in LBC boxes, ready for sending to recipients in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, many hardworking OFWs in Singapore and Malaysia were also given appreciation by LBC when it awarded the grand winners of its promo billed “ May Instant Holiday Ka sa ‘Yong PADALA” last December. The tilt, held between September 1 and December 1, 2017, was a collaboration with Philippine Airlines (PAL).

To qualify and get a raffle entry, LBC customers in the two countries only needed to make sea or air cargo transactions.

For Singapore, PAL roundtrip tickets were each given to the two grand draw winners. The 2nd prize winner took home a 32-inch TV while the 3rd prize winner received an android phone. For Malaysia, one lucky LBC patron won a PAL roundtrip ticket, while the 2nd and 3rd prize winners were awarded with a 32-inch TV and android phone, respectively.
