Making New Year a mouthwatering year as DQ spice up a bit their Blizzard collection. Taking the typical ice cream experience level up with Dairy Queen's Blizzard of the Month, the all-new and first of its kind flavor the Toblerone Blizzard.


During the launch of the Toblerone Blizzard I was able to take a dip on all of their flavors. We all know that Toblerone is one of the chocolate brand we always expects as "pasalubong" when relatives from abroad comes back for a vacation.

Maria Mika Maxine Medina, is the Philippines representative for the most renowned beauty pageant, Miss Universe. Right at the start of the preparation for this prestigious beauty pageant Pinoys had been debating online and offline whether for Maxine Medina to use an interpreter or not.

A few days right before the finals night, in most online and offline news tells that Maxine Medina will be having an interpreter on standby. So it is.
On the day of the Miss Universe, when all other ladies where eliminated and is down to just 6 of the lovely ladies namely Miss France, Miss Kenya, Miss Colombia, Miss Philippines, Miss Thailand, and Miss Haiti, Steve Harvey announced that Miss Colombia, Miss France, Miss Thailand and Miss Haiti will be using an interpreter. Pinoy crowds made a sound reaction, not sure if it is a reaction of support or not for Maxine Medina not using an interpreter. Nonetheless it was announced and Miss Philippines is the first to answer a question.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Universe, Miss France Iris Mittenaere. She is the hailed most beautiful woman in the universe and she confidently took everything that shows in her pose and answers. The coronation is just the beginning and there's a whole year ahead of her. Congrats!

Congratulations to Maxine Medina, Miss Philippines for making to the Top 6 of the 65th Miss Universe. It was an intense and thrilling journey but the world is round. Things doesn't usually lead to what you want and there are other circumstances along the way. Still congrats and thank you for taking us all into your journey.

This is my first time to write about GoodAh and to think that this restaurant has been around for quite some time made me rekindle my good old days of eating lugaw (gruel or poridge) and tapsis (tapa and sinangag or fried rice). As I recall it, the establishment is known for its serving of Filipino breakfast meals and what's interesting is it's tag line of Open 25 Hours knowing that we only have 24 hours a day.


Now, in one of its newest branch in Baclaran, where devotees went to every Wednesday, media and bloggers were invited to witness the opening of the store. Aside from the opening is the new dish that GoodAh rolls out to their menu as another selection for the hungry masses. An opening of a new store and launch of a new dish.
With already 7 stores plus the newest branch in Baclaran that is Open 25 Hours, GoodAh!!! launched it's "KKK" or more specific as "Krispy Kare-Kare". The dish uses ground peanuts  to give that traditionally rich and earthy flavor for the kare-kare sauce. A large bowl is fille dwith cooked string beans, talong, pechay, and of course the puso ng saging because it woouldn't be much of a kare-kare without one of the main ingredient. To complete the recipe a good amount of soft and juicy beef flank joins the dish. Sauteed shrimp paste gives the Kare-kare a different dimension to its play of flavors. This is the classic Filipino dish that is loved by everyone.



But for GoodAh!!! they made a playful twist with the dish making it a lot more interesting to savor. The usually gamey ox stripe or what is commonly termed by Pinoys as the "tuwalya" is a tough one to eat especially if it is not cooked properly. GoodAh!!! did is that fried it to give a crispy texture that makes a very fine contrast with its rich sauce. Enticing and intriguing that is what GoodAh!!! made out of the usual Kare-Kare that we all, Filipinos love very much. GoodAh!!!'s Krispy Kare-Kare is available in every store for just Php 299 a la carte and for the set meal it is just Php339. Affordable enough for the whole family or barkadas to enjoy.

The opening of  the 8th store and the launch of the new dish is graced by its brand ambassador and celebrity talk show host, Mr. Boy Abunda.
