NELIA hit a spot for MMFF 2021

The newest film company in Philippine Tinsel Town, A and Q Productions Film, Inc., hit one of the spots in one of the prestigious award-giving bodies for their maiden motion picture venture, introduces everyone to “NELIA,” a contemporary movie about a curious woman that will surely intrigue, frighten and make audiences scream.

It was interesting that Nelia was featured in this blog first quarter of this year and now the film has finally made its way to be seen by more audiences by being part of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2021.

The film Nelia was starred by beauty queen and actress WinWyn Marquez, portraying the title role, her womanly instincts and gut feel are aroused because of the mysterious cases happening in the hospital where she works. To what revelations her curiosity led her to uncover things that you can also uncover if you watch this film directed by Lester Dimaranan with a screenplay written by its producer Melanie Honey Quiño.

PRSP Launches First-Ever Virtual, Interactive and Nationwide Students’ PR Con

The gathering of influential persons in the industry, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) is inviting public relations, communication, marketing, and advertising students all over the country to learn more about decoding the content we consume and preparing in the journey to PR for Good through an informative virtual adventure to the different stages of the content journey in the PRSP Students’ PR Con 2021.

The PRSP Students’ PR Con 2021 is the first-ever virtual, interactive, and nationwide edition of the Students’ PR Congress, the organization’s annual event for students to learn more about the public relations industry from leading practitioners in the field. With the theme “Decoding Content: The Journey to PR for Good”, this year’s Students’ PR Con aims to help participants navigate the new media landscape and tackle the three different stages of the content journey, which are: (1) Capture and Consume, (2) Curate and Converse, and (3) Create and Care.

The first segment, Capture and Consume, aims to address how we contextualize the content that we come across in everyday life to mindfully capture and consume information from different media platforms. The second segment, Curate and Converse, will discuss curating content from reliable sources and starting conscientious and fruitful conversations about topics that matter as a way to fight misinformation and become responsible communicators. Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson is relying on his record as crime-buster and corruption fighter to win him the presidency.

Lacson plans to expand these initiatives as president and bring the government closer to the people. His main advocacy is to give more power to local government units that are closest to the citizens and understand the people’s needs best and are in a better position to respond to their problems more effectively.

The senator’s campaign underscores his efforts to prevent public money from being lost through corruption. His careful and detailed scrutiny of the national budget has saved the country P300 billion. Lacson proved his strong opposition to the pork barrel that had become for legislators a major perk of their jobs, by refusing to have any part of it.

Among other accomplishments, Lacson has listed as proof of his qualification for the highest post in the country are the investigations of the P728 million fertilizer scam, the anomalous $329 million contract between the Philippines and China’s ZTE Company, and Payola or bribery in the Bureau of Customs by exposing the TARA list.

He also brought to the public’s attention the “Hello Garci” tapes, an attempt at cheating during the 2004 elections.

The former military officer and PNP chief exposed the chopper scam where tge government paid brand-new prices for second-hand helicopters.

Lacson’s initiatives as PNP chief earned him a trust rating of 78+ percent from the public, the highest rating ever recorded for the position.

After staging her own death, Deborah promises to come back and end the lives of those who opposed her reign in Hermoso, particularly the group led by Mira and Joy. Deborah previously tried to kill Mira but ultimately failed after Bro immediately healed Mira’s stab wound.

Despite their ongoing struggles, Bro assured the sisters that everything happens for a reason and that they should stop worrying their lives away as long as their faith remains unshakeable.

The longest drama anthology of Asia re-airs the first team-up of Coco and Jodi on the small screen this Nov.13. (Saturday). Coco plays Ramon, who does underground boxing for a living. It's another part of the year where recognition in the entertainment industry is set by LionhearTV, when I say ENTERTAINMENT it's the whole shebangs, and that's from all different media and platforms. So, expect big this year.

RAWR is simply a stylized name lifted from the word 'roar' which represents the sound of the king of the jungle. Awardees each year are those who made a roaring noise in the entertainment industry as a whole.
