An update from the foreign music industry!  Read the details from the press release.

Italian teen group Il Volo is reaching more audiences with their repertoire becoming more mainstream each passing record or tour. The group recently released their sophomore album "We Are Love" which includes their version of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and U2's "Beautiful Day". They also recorded a composition by pop ballad hit maker Diane Warren, along with a duet with world-famous tenor Placido Domingo.

Released by MCA Music, "We Are Love" boasts a title cut that tightly embraces the identity of the Il Volo trio composed of Piero Barone (19), Gianluca Ginoble (17) and Ignazio Boschetto (18). The album was recorded in Los Angeles and Rome, co-produced by Grammy-winning producer Humberto Gatica and Tony Renis.

I have seen the Sarap Diva show before and the idea of cooking and talking makes it more fun and exciting to cook the menu.   In addition, knowing that the persons cooking are celebrities whom we watched and seen on television, plus the setting of as if they were just only cooking in a kitchen of a set made to look like a real house.


To be more specific SARAP DIVA is a cooking and talk show that is hosted by the owner of the house none other than the Asia's Song Bird, Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcazid.  It is seen every Saturday morning at 9:40 on the Kapuso Channel, GMA 7.   We all can learn tips and tricks of different celebrities as they cook their most love dishes.


This coming Saturday, January 5, it's going to be a morning of screaming as the "Machete" actors visits the kitchen of Sarap Diva, Aljur Abrenica and Gardo Versoza together with Gladys Guevarra.

Thousand Teas equals a thousand flavors and a thousand aromas. That’s what I was able to experience during the exci-Tea-ing event or should I say a Tea Ceremony event held a few weeks ago. Perhaps that’s what I’ll call it because of the different information that I’ve learned with that half day event.

For a start Thousand Teas is I think the first Tea house that mainly offer all kinds of Teas. Though the market is mostly not tea lovers’ and because the location is settled near the universities, they are targeting them by offering something new and flavorful like their milk teas.

The Filipino Bloggers Worldwide first ever Grand Eyeball was a success and I was successful also in bagging some items back home. Hahaha! Kidding aside, it was a seccessful event held and organized by the admins of Filipino Bloggers Worldwide. Though I wasn't able to mingle more with the bloggers still it was great knowing that there are plenty of bloggers and I'm sure not everyone was there to celebrate and mingle with other bloggers.


Great that there are talks and sharing of experiences from other successful bloggers at least it will guide the newbies in their chosen field, the blogging world.

Aside from the learnings that most of the attendees in the event engulfed there were also prizes that had been raffled. The prizes were so plenty that the organizers need to do another round of raffle. I think everyone didn't went home with nothing.



I had a great time and of course met some other bloggers whom I haven't know yet. I hope the organizers will do another round of this kind of event next year and hopefully I'll be able to meet more bloggers.

So for all the admins and organizers of the group CONGRATULATIONS for a successful event!

STRANGERS in a strange place with strange people.  That's what is the simplest description about this movie.  This coming December 25, as one of the entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival this movie will bring strange feeling and more than a goosebumps.

The story of The Strangers focuses mainly on a Family of Five that tries to put aside their differences on the eve of their kids 18th birthday.  Fraternal twins Pat (Julia Montes) and Max (Enrique Gil) prepare to go on their annual out of town trip. Accompanied by their parents Roy and Evelyn (played by Johnny Revilla and Cherry Pie Picache, respectively) their grandfather Pete (Jaime Fabregas) and his temporary caretaker Paloma (Janice De Belen) as well as their newly hired driver Toning (Nico Antonio), they set for the far flung town of Murcia.

During the press con, "Ako ang mgbibigay ng kapahamakan sa kanila" according to Nico Antonio, the driver.

Whatever problems they had with each other fade away as they head for Murcia. But their happiness comes to a screeching halt when their van hits an old lady, presumably killing her. Shaken, they get out of the van to see if they can help her-and find that her body has vanished into thin air When night sets in, Toning is attached by a mysterious creature, Roy and Lolo Pete go missing and Evelyn, Pat , Max and Paloma are left stranded in the middle of nowhere.


They eventually find their way to a village, where they are besieged by a series of aswang attacks. Pat finds an ally in one of the villagers, a young man named Dolfo (Enchong Dee). THey  realize the only way to survive is to band together against the aswang terrorizing the village.

Whether or not they will survive is something moviegoers will find out when The Strangers hits theaters as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival on December 25.

The movie is very challenging to all the cast, as well as the directors. Enchong needs to immerse himself as a dirty man, in order to him to portray it properly. "Masaya and Tiring ang paggawa ng movie na'to", according to Enchong.

The Strangers is directed by Lawrence Anthony Fajardo, whose recent work as a director includes Posas - which won Best Film in the Director's Showcase division of this year's Cinemalaya. and again at the Hanoi Film Festival in Vietnam - and Amok, which bagged a whopping 11 nominations for this year's Gawad Urian, as well as the top prize at the Detective Fest in Moscow last April.


The Strangers is produce by Quantum and MJM Productions that will give movie enthusiasts a different horror experience by taking into a world where nothing is ever what it seems: the world of The Strangers.

Movie fanatics and horror enthusiasts people, this is for you.  If you want to have a thrilling Christmas watch this movie.  A horror movie that will tackles family in different scenario, that will trigger the family that they need to be bonded in times of problem.

Head on to cinemas this coming December 25 for "The Strangers".

Right now people watching the Miss Universe 2012 are very much excited to know who will be this year's crowned Miss Universe.

As of this writing the candidates where down to TOP 5 and they are MS. PHILLIPINES - JANINE TUGONON, MS. USA - OLIVIA CULPO, MS. VENEZUELA - IRENE ESSER, MS. BRAZIL - GABRIELA MARKUS, MS. AUSTRALIA - RENAE AYRIS.   It seems that all of them did great with the question and answer.

So we awaits who will be the MISS UNIVERSE 2012.

Kids and kids-at-heart are always looking forward for this happiest day of the year.  Not only that they'll be receiving gifts but everyone will have a chance to go on a bonding moment with family while watching movies and December 25 is the Metro Manila Film Festival so everyone will have lots of movies to enjoy.
