Kyle Echarri Now A Singer-Songwriter of His Latest Single "I'm Serious"

9:51:00 PM

Is he really serious? Well, during the online media conference, Kyle Echarri showed and shared how serious he is about his craft. One proof that he is serious is that he's levelling up his singing career by not only singing but also crafting his own songs.

A more mature Kyle Echarri was presented during the mediacon of his latest single release titled “I’m Serious,” which he wrote and produced under Star POP.

This project marks the young actor-singer’s first solo music project as a singer-songwriter and music producer. Label head Rox Santos served as the supervising producer of Kyle’s upcoming album which will include “I’m Serious.”

“I really wanted to let people feel who Kyle really is, so what I did was write all the songs in this album,” he teased.

“I’m Serious” is a straightforward love song in which a guy looks for a way to ease the girl’s worries by committing his faithful love only for her. It expresses deep affection for a special someone while also convincing her of his decent intentions.

Kyle said he wrote the song to address assumptions about him being a “chickboy.” “For me, the best thing to do now is just spread positivity and love to one another. When something negative was thrown at me, I guess I translated it into something positive. I just really wanted to spread love to everyone,” he explained.

Before the song’s official drop, 15 lucky fans who won Star POP’s contest on Twitter got first dibs on hearing the track via a virtual fan meet and listening party last Wednesday (September 9).

Kyle finished in the Top 6 of “The Voice Kids” season 2 in 2015. His most recent collaboration is with 16-year-old Singaporean talent Haven for the dreamy track “Imagine.” In 2018, the “Kadenang Ginto” breakout star released his hit song “Pangako,” which climbed to the top spot of iTunes PH’s Top 100 Songs Chart upon its release.

Trust real love and listen to Kyle’s new song, “I’m Serious” on various digital streaming platforms. Maris Racal's 'Not For Me' Shows An Introspective Side of Her

9:36:00 PM

This blog have been on tail on Maris Racal's stories, most especially during their Marnigo days, and we can say that her musical talent is interesting, whether she goes alone or with a partner. So, now we've got another story to share about Maris and this is about her newest single which is something to check out. She did create a name for herself and she has been one of the breakout young actresses of her generation. Maris Racal has successfully dabbled in writing her own songs and challenging industry expectations with her intimate and refreshing take on pop music. From penning the chart-topping confessional “Ikaw Lang Sapat Na” to collaborating with Rico Blanco on the city pop-influenced ditty “Abot Langit,” Racal is surprisingly an effective chronicler of love anthems for the modern age—a guitar-toting songstress known for balancing commercial appeal with artistic integrity.

Bursting with youthful fervor and charismatic edge, Maris Racal’s latest single “Not For Me” stretches her introspective side of music-making to interesting places, while retaining the accessibility of her recent crossover hits. Her resounding confidence translates perfectly into the musical output, but it’s her conversational and matter-of-fact songwriting style that earns the stripes, revealing a degree of self-assuredness that comes with experience.

Inspired by Britpop acts such as Aqualung and folk-pop chanteuses like Lily Allen and Regina Spektor, Racal wrote “Not For Me” not so much for intriguing unconventionality, but as an outlet to express herself in a way that feels truthful and inherently raw. The driving piano chords and the soaring arrangements give her storytelling a more authentic spin, lending it an effortless breeziness while making sure it doesn’t lessen the emotional impact of the song.

With “Not For Me” putting a spotlight on her songwriting strengths, Maris Racal explores the complexities of romantic uncertainty with a surprisingly nuanced approach—unfiltered, no longer afraid of possibilities, and ready to own the moment.

“Not For Me” is out now on all digital platforms worldwide via Sony Music Philippines.

Durex with their HIV Protection & Preparedness Education (PPE) campaign

12:08:00 AM

Durable as it is, the brand is sharing some new info for everyone to learn with. Since we are now in a pandemic state it is better to have this campaigns run on online premises to still commit with protocols of the government. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the issue of HIV and the dangers it brings, seems to have taken a backseat amidst everything that the whole world is experiencing right now. Yet, what people don’t seem to realize is that HIV is equally threatening as COVID-19. In the same way that we are told to wear masks and face shields, being properly educated, prepared, and protected against HIV is likewise critical in today’s times.

With this in mind, Durex launches its latest digital campaign dubbed as “Protection & Preparedness Education” or PPE in short. This timely initiative aims to heighten HIV awareness, stressing the constant relevance of safe sex and “Always Coming Prepared”—and that we must never let our guards down. Whether for singles or stay-at-home couples, using protection—which can provide necessary safeguards without limiting pleasure—is crucial, as health and wellness concerns continue to take front and center, during the ongoing pandemic.

Towards this end, Durex has lined-up a series of online events, headlined by the crew of Boys Night Out (BNO)—TonyToni, Slick Rick, and Sam YG—the campaign’s main ambassadors.

“With all that is happening during these trying times, we must not lose sight of the fact that HIV remains to be a serious concern, one that is as life-threatening as COVID-19,” says Durex Philippines. “The Always Come Prepared campaign of Durex therefore continues, made just as relevant and timely—in keeping with the situation by going online. We will keep on with our goal of educating the public about HIV Prevention, and that being prepared is always a must.”

Among the exciting and relevant activities to watch out for include an online staging of the University Townhall series featuring speakers from the medical field, psychology, HIV, and LGBTQIA+ awareness and advocacy; the launch of HIV Awareness E-Learning Videos that’s well suited for the shift towards online learning; and Vlog collabs with influencers and celebrities focused on fun, health and wellness activities.

Here's Another Thing to "Take Action" from home with NASA

12:03:00 AM

This coming October 2-4, It's another news from the United States space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as they invite coders, entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, artists, and technologists to come together in a global, virtual hackathon. During a period of 48 hours, participants from around the world will come together to create virtual teams and solve challenges using NASA’s open-source data.

Designed for those interested in space science and exploration, this hackathon allows the next generation of scientists, technologists, designers and engineers to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills through inspired collaboration and critical thinking.

As part of Space Apps, everyone belongs to a global hackathon community which embraces collaboration across borders, sectors, and cultures to bring about paradigm-shifting innovation.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of the global community’s health and safety, this year’s hackathon will be an all-virtual event. In other words, all events shall be moved online. In this unprecedented time, the Space Apps community exists as a reminder that everyone has the tools and talents to tackle the challenges facing the planet, as well as the ability to unite across boundaries and borders of all kinds.

The theme for this year -- "Take Action" -- is a critical reminder that anyone can make a difference, even from the comfort and safety of home.

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) of France, and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will be partnering again with NASA for this hackathon.

Since Space Apps is brought to the Philippines by developer and technology community leader Tzar C. Umang from Pangasinan last 2016, the country witnessed on how the community grew from a group of volunteers to forging partnerships with collaborators and stakeholders. The Philippines produced global winners like the dengue hotspot predictor Project AEDES and information portal G.I.D.E.O.N. measuring COVID-19 impact, both developed by CirroLytix. The country also has global finalists like Celestial Snails from De La Salle University addressing social isolation and Sentinellium, an epidemic predictor using population density data, both addressing problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Space Apps throughout the years in the Philippines.

While recognition and honor was given to the Philippines by NASA and partner agencies, lead organizer Michael Lance M. Domagas hopes that the country would soon realize the importance and value of giving support and assistance in the development of these winning projects, so that fellow Filipinos would benefit from these technologies coming from outer space in times of emergencies like COVID-19 and dengue epidemic. "Space Apps is a perfect venue which can arouse curiosity and interest of Filipinos to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), including space and Earth sciences. Our own country's support should have been a way to inspire more Filipinos and further develop winning projects," he said. Space Apps can be a program in developing "space education and promote public awareness" stated in Section 8 of Republic Act 11363 otherwise known as the "Philippine Space Act."

"The Global Organizing Team is inspired by the journey the Philippines has with the Space Apps program. In particular, we appreciate the development of STEM in the Philippines and elsewhere, because one goal of Space Apps is to foster interest and learning in these fields worldwide," according to Matt Scott, the Global Community Director and Storyteller.

Lucas, Matty, and Enzo or the IDOLLS Just Release Their Music

8:58:00 PM

Just the right day when I'm celebrating my natal day, I was invited to take part as one of the media and bloggers who will throw in some questions about the trio - Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario - who forms the group IDOLLS. They are the talented trio who are alumni of ABS-CBN's Idol Philippines. The iDolls are treating their fans with their respective new singles all under Star POP.

Lucas is offering his own powerful and emotive take to the 2018 Himig Handog 5th Best Song “Tinatapos Ko Na,” originally interpreted by Jona. The fresh version was arranged by Iean Inigo and transports listeners to the sad yet hopeful journey of a person going through a failing relationship.

“This is my first ever revival, and I’m honored because Ms. Jona also sang it. I also experienced the song’s message, and it also became the theme song of the K-drama ‘The World of the Married Couple’,” shared Lucas on what makes the song special.

Matty, meanwhile, explores the bliss of young and expressive love in the original song “Sayaw ng mga Tala,” written by Danielle Balagtas and produced by Star POP head Rox Santos. The track tells the heartwarming tale of a person who has been devotedly in love with a special someone for so long, until it blooms into forever.

“I love that it has storytelling. I think I added my own flare to it in that even if I haven’t been in a relationship before, I sang it in a way that I focused on the song’s message instead of the high notes,” said Matty.

Finally, Enzo puts his own spin on the 2017 Himig Handog 3rd Best Song “Extensyon,” initially interpreted by Inigo Pascual featuring its composer Aikee. The song touches on the tensions surrounding ex-lovers, especially when they come across each other again. Enzo’s version was arranged by Theo Martel.

“What makes it special is that I'm singing on a different perspective. The person that I’m singing it to can be a girl or a guy. The beat is also faster, and in this version, I also did the rap part,” explained Enzo.

Lucas, Matty, and Enzo all joined the launching season of “Idol Philippines” in 2019. Lucas was proclaimed as the runner-up, Matty finished in the top 12 while Enzo reached the top 20. They have been releasing covers of songs like “Dalaga,” “Hanggang Dito na Lang,” and “Mabagal” as the group iDolls since the competition’s conclusion.

Aside from some few questions that are thrown to them about their belting voices and musicality there were also inquiries like what I ask "How do you support each other when one is being bashed?" They gayfully and jokingly replied that they also bash the one's who's being bashed. Well, frankly according to them nothing much of a bashing happens like that and if there's any they make sure to be there with each other.

Listen to Lucas’ “Tinatapos Ko Na,” Matty’s “Sayaw ng mga Tala,” and Enzo’s “Extensyon” on various digital streaming services. Royce Paves Road to Recovery Reminding Us To #StaySafe. #PlaySafe. #OnlyAtRoyce

7:37:00 AM

Royce Hotel and Casino - #StaySafe. #PlaySafe. #OnlyAtRoyce

At present, we are all, and still at rick, the virus is just one contact away. Even though, there are moves among companies and individuals to help prevent the spread of the virus. Indeed the COVID-19 pandemic has changed life as we know it. it has affected individuals, families, communities, cities, and countries. it swept across nations like a wildfire and before we know it, it's a pandemic of massive, global scale.

To stop the spread of the virus, countries went into lockdown and implemented quarantine protocols across nations. Cancellation of international and local flights were enforced. And just like that world went into a halt.

While this pandemic has impacted the economy, it directly hit and is strongly felt by the hospitality and travel industry. But like all else, this too shall pass. now, more than ever, there is need to have a positive perspective, plan for the future and navigate the road to recovery.

Royce Hotel and Casino - #StaySafe. #PlaySafe. #OnlyAtRoyce

Royce Hotel and Casino made adjustments as response to the change in consumer needs brought about by the pandemic by launching its campaign, "StaySafe. #Playsafe.#OnlyAtRoyce."

For Royce, there is no turning back. Moving forward cautiously is the only way to go. With that, doors are open, guests are welcome and it's business as usual. But, going back to business means ensuring the health and safety of everyone, from employees to the guests.

Temperature check and filling-up of contact tracing questionnaire are now regular procedures that anyone, who wish to enter the property, has to undergo. As additional safety measure, Royce rolled-out their 5-in-1 Sanitation Booth that has the following features:

  • IR Thermal Scanner
  • Face Mask Detector
  • hand Sanitizer
  • High-pressure Mist
  • UVC Light

Regular cleaning and deep sanitation is done for high-touch and common areas of the property like door handles, floors, carpets, tables, chairs, casino gaming machines, to name a few.

To lower the spread and slow down the transmission of the virus, RHC has explored other Cashless Transaction Payment Gateways and encourage the use of such in the property. Aside from the usual cash and credit card transactions, the property now accepts G_Cash, Grab Pay, WeChat Pay and Alipay.

To cater to the needs of its customers, the restaurants inside the property like The Lounge, Amare by Chef Chris and Choi Garden Clark now offers delivery service. while dining-in is already allowed, Royce makes sure to abide by the City Government of Angeles, in terms of its dine-in establishment policies and protocols.

These new measures certainly affects customer experience. But right now, safety is the priority of everyone. Bending over a little from both the industry-side and the customer-side is needed. like what has been said, "we are in this together."

Royce Hotel and Casino continuously assess the situation and align and adapts what is necessary and what is best to ensure health, safety and well-being of its people and its guests. This is how they plan to move to the next normal.
