It is about a girl named Sinag Obispo, which is played by Maine Mendoza. Sinag is a DJ in a community radio station at the town of Pelangi, her hometown. The place was formerly a well-developed municipality with its mining industry but then the mining firms was shut down. While others are leaving town to look for a better place to work, Sinag stayed behind because she loves her hometown. She wanted to preserve the culture, the tradition and the town through her community radio station whom she inherited from her grandfather.
Another character of the love story is Benjie Rosales, which is played by Alden Richards. Benjie is fresh architecture graduate who aspires to be one of the best architect in the Philippines. Solely raised by his mother, Amanda. Unknown to him, his father's family is known in the real-estate industry of which he was convinced to work in that real estate company. Benjie was assigned in a project in Pelangi where is destined to meet Sinag.

Will destiny have its coursed in both of their lives? Or are they destined to fall in love with each other?

There's going to be a great competition of teleseryes these days.  Kwento Ni Toto shares one inspiring teleserye from TV5, the Beki Boxer.  Attended to this Beki Boxer Blog Conference was my ever reliable correspondent Justin, who happens to be a beki as well.  He enjoyed the conference and of course he as one was inspired by this teleserye and shares that it's a good teleserye that inspires other beki to push through with what they want to do.  The Beki Boxer airs tonight at 7 PM at the Kapatid Network TV5.

Kwento Ni Toto shares another Teleserye to watch on ABS CBN.  Another TV moment for the moms and for fans of Julia Barretto and Enrique Gil.

Two more nights and Got To Believe or G2B will have its #BestEndingEver!  Yes, they will bid farewell to their Fans and Teleserye lovers as the TV Series will end its run on March 7 (Friday).  Though fans and teleserye lovers are definitely disappointed with the coming end of the TV Series it is nonetheless that any series will definitely come to an end and according to Direk Cathy "Hanggang dito na lang talaga yung soap baka kasi malaglag yung story".  They wanted the story to be as rich as possible and to avoid any more addition to the that fans and followers may not like.  


Since it started airing in August 2013, "Got To Believe" has captured the hearts of primetime audience and netizens through its story that focused on the value of Family, optimism, faith in one's dream and love.

Few weeks ago, right before Juan Dela Cruz announced that they'll be soon ending, Honesto started showing up in commercials as it is the next prime time TV series that will replace Juan Dela Cruz. And I like the concept of their nose are swelling when they tell lies. Perhaps and this is just a hunch that Honesto, with its honesty thrust, was intentionally driven out just right before the election to inform the masses that we all need an honest and trust worthy officials that will lead us even in this smallest form of the government.

Kwento Ni Toto had been watching the Pinoy Version of Maria Mercedes already for quite some time and thanks to wifey for that.  Also I get to watch the lovely actress who greeted me on my birthday.

So, for almost two weeks already I like how the story goes.   In my opinion Jessy Mendiola made justice to the character, the usual beautiful, innocent look of Maria Mercedes.  Jessy captured that style.  I remembered having some time to watch the series as my mom and sister sit and have their telenovela moments.

ABS CBN releases one of its biggest prime time series for this year as they celebrates 60 years of Philippine Television they will release one of its biggest prime time series for the year, "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin" topbilled by action-drama prince Gerald Anderson and award winning actress Dawn Zulueta.

Gerald and Dawn played the role of the mother and son characters of Miguel and Zenaida Dizon who will then suffer in the aftermath of a controversial rape case.  Together, mother and son, they will seek for justice and find ways to prove that Miguel is innocent.

Pinoys from 80s knows the story of Annaliza, me being a kid don't get the whole idea about the story but I know about the soap opera then, most especially when talked about Julie Vega.  Yup, Julie Vega was the child star who played the role of Annaliza and that's all I know.

Three decades after, Annaliza returns to television in Primetime Bida of ABS-CBN.  This is their newest and heartwarming primetime family drama which will be played by Andrea Brillantes as Annaliza.

Andrea, being one of the rising teleserye princess, captures the similarities with Julie Vega, innocent and beautiful.  Played numerous remarkable roles, Andrea Brillantes may have the talent to portray the character of Annaliza.  Perhaps we will watch it even closer and see her acting on this.

Today will be the first pilot episode of the newest Teleserye in ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold.  If you're one of Carlo J. Caparas' comic collections fans then perhaps you'll enjoy watching this and wanting to see everyday's episode.

Dugong Buhay is a story about the lifetime search for vengeance of a hacienda worker named Simon against the cruelty of the De Lara family.  Because of the burning hatred Sion is going to use his own son Victor played by Ejay to destroy the people who maltreated his family.

What would you think if you hear two contrasting elements mixed together in a specific phrase? Ironic or crazy, perhaps, but this title of the newest teleserye of ABS CBN makes it interesting to watch. Entitled as “Apoy Sa Dagat” is a contradicting phrase translated in English as “Fire on Water” or “Fire on the Sea”.

Few weeks ago, we were given a time to sit down and chat with the creative team of “Apoy Sa Dagat”. It was a lively and interesting chat with the writers and director, with Director F.M. Reyes as the one who lead our small chit chat.

Few days before the first episode of Juan Dela Cruz, I was able to catch the advance screening of its first whole week. The advance screening was available in few places in the Philippines. One in Megamall, in Cebu, and in Davao.  All Coco Martin fans are very much eager to watch it. The screening in SM Megamall was packed with celebrities showing their support for Coco Martin come after the successful love story Walang Hanggang which was hailed by many fans and viewers as well as the fans and supporters of Coco.

Watched and seen the first few episodes of ABS CBN's newest teleserye that will sure hit primetime, Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw.   Three of the well known entertainment royalties will make prime time a good reason to come home early.  The Queen of all Media Kris Aquino, Box Office Queen Anne Curtis and the very Idol of the Masses Robin Padilla joins together in this drama series, bringing another love story in a different approach.

It's very common in a Pinoy setting of love story that a couple ends up in a happy ending.  The guy saves the girl from the bad guy, a slight action happens, the girl kisses the guy and poof it ends up with a great beautiful background with both of them happy kissing together.  But for this specific Pinoy love story, Walang Hanggan, the director perhaps made some quite few changes from the monotony of love story, they made it tragic enough to make a mark for the teleserye industry.   I could say that they've done it and I think they have marked everyone's heart with their heart felt ending because the entire country err the entire Filipino nation were morning together with the character of Dawn Zulueta (Emily) and Richard Gomez (Marco) with the death of Coco Martin and Julia Montes' character Daniel and Katerina.

Last week, few days before the start of its primetime show, I was able to have a chance to watch the first five days of this new teleserye, the "INA KAPATID ANAK". It was an inspiring, in time, and an uplifting story for the mothers. It shows different moral stories that we can learn from, being a mother, being a sibling, and being a child. The story also touches the side of the fathers which is also great to know that they have shown the good and the bad side of a father.

Since the teleserye had already been aired what have you somehow learned and realized from this moment. Did the story touches your heart or does it represents you or you confirm that the story is something close to your own side of story? What ever your reactions are I'm very much sure that we all can relate about the story since the main thrust of the story line is about family.

Expect another teleserye from ABS CBN, the "Be Careful with my Heart" which will premiere on Monday, July 9, 2012 on ABS CBN. This will be a Prime-Tanghali drama series. A light drama and comedy with a cute love story and love team of Jodi and Richard or commonly called Papa Chen.

Both Jodi and Richard are both excited with show as it marks a milestone in their respective showbiz careers. "Be Careful is so special to me as it is my firs-ever lead role in a teleserye. This is also the first time that I get to work with Richard, " said Jodi, who will portray the role of Maya, a provincial lass who dreams to become a flight stewardess for her to help her family out of poverty.

Jodi further shared that she is quite positive that Maya's tale will win the hearts of the afternoon viewers because of the "good vibes" that she brings in the story. She said "They will surely be inspired with Maya's character. She is so optimistic with life. For her, everything can be done and nothing is impossible!"

Meanwhile, similar to his leading lady, "Be Careful With My Heart" is equally memorable for Richard as it is his first drama, where he is the leading man.

Richard will give life to the character of Mr. Lim. "In the story, I'm a widower who works hard for his three children. But because of being busy with his business, he will need help," said Richard. "It's more of an unexpected love story. Viewers can expect a lot of kilig moments and I'm sure they can relate with it.

Aside form Jodi and Richard, also part of "Be Careful With My Heart" are Jerome Perez, Janella Salvador and Mutya Orquia. It is under the direction of Jeffrey Jeturina and Mervyn Brondial.

"Mundo Man ay magunaw" lead stars Eula Valdes, Empress, Nikki Gil, and Ejay Falcon are currently having mixed emotions as their much acclaimed afternoon drama series draws down to its last two weeks.

Whiel they feel happy because of the show's consistent triumph in the ratings game and the positive feedback they have been receiving from TV viewers, the whole cast are also saddened because they will miss their regular bonding on the set.

According to Eula, they always have wonderful moments during tapings.  "My relationship with my co-actors really became very personal, to the point that we share stories about our own families," Eula said.  "The whole cast and even the staff are sensitive to each other's feelings that's why if we're making jokes about each other, nobody gets offended."

For Empress, being part of "Mundo Man Ay Magunaw" has been a huge blessing.  "I've learned so much from the veteran actors in the show.  I think even if I'm not part of 'Mundo Man ay Magunaw,' I'll still be proud of it because of its great story and well execution on TV," Empress said.

Meanwhile, Nikki discovered the actress in her even more because of "Mundo Man ay Magunaw."  According to her, "I've learned a lot not only about acting but also many other things about myself.  I'm very thankful to be given the chance to work with senior stars in 'Mundo Man ay Magunaw' because they've taught me a lot about being an artist and being a person."

Ejay, on the other hand, admitted that he is going to miss 'playing' with his co-actors on the set.  "We really enjoyed doing this drama series.  It's like we're not working because we're always playing and laughing during the set.  We've become like a real happy family that is why it's easier for us to work."

As the story of Olivia (Eula), Sheryl (Empress), and Jenny (Nikki) goes down to its final two weeks, how will fate bring them back together?  Will someone need to risk his/her own life for their family to be finally whole?

At last after a few months of being off the high light of being shown, "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" is finally here and this time to invite everyone to watch the airing on September 12, 2011 after My Binondo Girl.

Last September 7, one of Toto's correspondent attended the exclusive preview of the much awaited Nasaan Ka Elisa.  This teleserye was supposed to be aired last March but because of some certain matters concerning the story and the plot that's why it was moved to Primetime.  Nasaan Ka Elisa is a full packed suspense and drama that for sure will get primetime viewers' hooked in it.  This teleserye is starred by Melissa Ricks as Elisa, Albert Martinez as Mariano, Agot Isidro as Dana Altamira and a whole lot more.
