The three flavors got its different features and tastes. The Mango Tango is made up of sliced mangoes, nata de coco and of course the shaved ice with some sweets. The flavor and the tastes really compliments the whole Mango Tango.

The Strawberry Banana Senstation, a mixed of sliced bananas with the strawberry syrup and the shaved ice. A good combination to drool with. I think kids will definitely love this flavor.

The Chocolate Heaven, chocolate bits, coffee jelly and choco syrup gives this dessert a thumbs up for the chocolate lovers.

All the three desserts wouldn't be great without the shaved ice that is perfectly smooth, refined and greatly melts in your mouth. This dessert's single serving is good for 2 to 3 person which is only Php230.00

It seems that places where smokers can do their thing is becoming smaller and smaller because President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Executive Order No. 26 banning smoking in all public places and prohibiting cigarette consumption by minors. The order was signed May 16 and according to the document the order will take effect 60 days after its publication. So it will probably start by next Saturday.

In this Executive Order No. 26, smoking is already prohibited in enclosed public places and public utility vehicles regardless if they are moving or stationary and is allowed only in designated smoking area. So, meaning there will be a designated smoking area. Thank goodness because all non-smokers would be happy and enjoying the freshness of the air, if it is still fresh.

So under this executive order there are so many "don'ts" that already exists in some of the earlier orders for the wellness of the people who does not enjoy the lingering smell of cigarette smoke. A few days from now the EO No. 26 will take effect and is required to be followed by everyone under the Philippine Flag. But there's still a question of the extent of government control over the individuals. Not everyone will be policed about their smoking habits, so who or how will this executive order be implemented properly? It seems that there will be a very big whole to fill in with this order.

This will take long before it I truly and fully implemented.

In the rise of the heated talks about Grab, Uber and LTFRB regarding the idea of fining of amounting to millions, I just came to a realization. At first it didn't crossed to my mind but lately with the increase of problem with traffic, I realized that Grab and Uber became one of the causes of heavy traffic.

I'm also a user of Grab and Uber user I definitely know the conditions of this cars. Yup, most of these cars are brand new.

Here are my realization why Grab and Uber in the Philippines became one of the reasons why traffic became worse.

1. Theoretically Grab and Uber operators are supposed to be existing owners of vehicles to be used as alternative means of public transport but practically Grab and Uber became the reasons to buy more cars.

2. Because of the testimonies of Grab and Uber drivers and operators on how they profit  from it, many individuals bought brand new cars for use in Grab or Uber.

3. Remember that when Grab and Uber became known traffic just worsen.

4. I'm not sure which is which, the cost of vehicles lower because of the potential business with Grab or Uber operators or the rise of Uber and Grab made vehicle companies to lower their cost. Either which vehicle sale scaled up.

So, is my analization makes sense or not?

Whatever nay be the cause of the traffic perhaps it is high time for the government to take this seriously. Move, act and do things for the country not for the wallet. Travel time of 5 to 6 hours a day to and from is nit economically healthy.

Two or more is already a big number and since our family is just in a mid size, having some few platters is great for our dinner. Most of the time if want to just enjoy eating without the staple food, which is rice, we always manage to find the comfort of pasta. We love pasta and I think our kids get it from me. My wife, who loves to cook, would always find time to prepare pasta dishes but of course there are times that she just wanted to rest. So, there's always a restaurant to turn to. One of the best exercise is running and the better way to do this is with a friend or loved one. This brings more fun and exciting to achieve a healthy lifestyle. It's always best to have someone to remind or push you to your goal. Just like what Robinsons Supermarket did with their annual Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run. They made sure that participants will have a running partner, it won't be called Buddy Run if only one.

For how many years, we've always been one of the avid participants of this running event and this year is a little bit different because we were joined by our adorable little ones. Yes, Kwento Ni Toto (Daddy Marco) and Mommy's Mag Life (Mommy Angelyn) were joined by the Kids On The Go (Maki and Gelo). But of course the little ones is still on their starting point so we just phased our run or rather walk-run.

For this year there were plenty of participants who joined. This is Robinsons Supermarket's 10th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run which happened at the Parade Grounds of Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. To make sure that we will be on this event we woke up really early.

If you've heard the phrase "toys for the big boys", well, this one is truly for the big boys. Who would have thought that the idea would be materialized and become the first drone flying sports. Thus, giving to the birth of Game of Drones which showcased its first flight at Circulo Verde.


We all know that Circulo Verde just launched its first signature pump track and bike playground here in the Philippines. And with that area great for outdoor activities, the revitalized industry player introduced yet another signature event which captured the imagination of millennials and kids of all ages. Everyone present at Circulo Verde looked skyward and witnessed a spectacle of lights and drone feats- The grandest yet - Game of Drones 1st Flight.

Circulo Verde, Ortigas & Co.'s 10 hectare master planned mixed use community in Quezon city was set aglow with the spectacular sight of drones flipping in the air. After dusk, the place was ablaze with lights coming from the lit tracks where the quadcopters coursed through,prompting spectators to squeal in delight & excitement.
Circulo Verde oferred the perfect venue for Game of Drones 1st Flight where drone professionals, hobbyists & amateurs had the whole day for themselves to race - and learn a few tricks using the remote-controlled aircrafts.

The games were open to two drone categories: the Spec Class or Beginners for pilots using a quadcopter with 35 LiPo and 5" diameter props and Open Class or Advance for pilots with quadcopters that weighed a maximum of 50 lbs. The Game Arena was divided into several areas with different races for drone controllers, namely Time Trial, Drone Sprint, Rotocross, and Drone Photography.

But Game of Drones was not exclusively for drone enthusiasts. The country's biggest and grandest drone spectacle also enticed families and friends to bond over raffles and other activities while served with first-class entertainment throughout the jampacked one-day event. Everyone from kids and teens to adults also took advantage of food booths and other stalls that sold sports apparel from sponsors and concessionaires.

It was definitely air supremacy ablaze as everyone enjoyed the spectacle leaving a collective question which begged to be answered: What will Ortigas & Co. offer next?

It is a good news for everyone! it was finally out and it is official that Malacañang declared June 26, 2017 (Monday) a National Holiday. This is in observance of Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadhan.

Eid’l Fitr is an important religious holiday for the Muslim communities worldwide. It is celebrated to mark the end of Ramadhan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

After a few days of waiting and expecting, the working class and our dear students can now plan their schedule ahead of time.

So whatever your plans are, enjoy and take the opportunity for some meaningful activities.

When you study history it is easy to say the story behind that particular date. But when you just let the subject passes through, you actually don't have any idea about it. Today, it is a tragedy that only few students does their homeworks and only few knows about their past, their history. So can we still say June 12 is the Independence Day of the Philippines? Is it?

At present, it is much easier to get information about history and the intriguing stories underneath, but having the actual facts of the incident is quite unreliable. Only few websites that can actually say if it is true or not, unless you verify if the author is like Ambeth Ocampo.


Most of the reasons why history is said to be boring is because the personality who taught history in primary and secondary schools are just forced to teach history. For them history is like a sheet of manila paper with list of names, dates, and places only. Another reason is that the structure and medium used in teaching the subject. Gives them more confusion in learning history.

Now, tell me, what happened to the cause of independence when even the one that is ought to be the hope of the country is no longer the hope but mere problem. You cannot injected independence when these students are still shackled by the wrongs of the past teachings. History should be entertaining in a way that todays student would definitely have a sense of patriotism.  

So, do you celebrate Independence Day because you acknowledge what our forefathers did to win that momentous day or you just simply flow with the bandwagon of independence celebration?

Yes, you read it right. Liza Soberano is the newest actress who will play the role of the iconic superheroine created by Mars Ravelo's Darna. Well I got surprised at first, though she was one of the few shortlisted actresses who would be the next to play the role of Darna.

In the news that was out for the public it is said that Liza Soberano will do more than 100 percent of what is expected of her. She should be because the stars who have played the role made an impression to the viewers and fans of Darna. The last actress who played the role was Angel Locsin who was able to par with the standards of the previous actress who portrayed the role like Sharon Cuneta and Vilma Santos. So, will that 100 percent more can level that standard? Let us see.

In my own observation, Liza look and personality fits the character of Narda I just don't know if she can radiate the heroic aura of Darna. Yes, Liza is a versatile actress but there are some things that are left as it is and for this particular iconic superheroine character it seems that she'll be having a hard time to beam up that look.

So we'll just see and expect the best from her and let us hope that aside from the marketing and glam of the costume we will still see the character of Darna or Narda through her.

Oh one more thing, with the filming style of Erik Matti I really don't know how the movie will end up. I'm not sure if Liza already worked with Direk Erik Matti. So there's a big void in the air that needs to be occupied until the full trailer of Darna.
